Does Luck affect Chests?

Just something that I've been experiencing, my friend uses a Luck build. Up the Ante with Jar of Salty Lips and every time I search a chest I get Purple/Green items all the time. Is it a coincidence or does luck affect chests? Could a dev please confirm this. @Peanits @not_Queen

Pretty sure they do. Plunders and Ace in the hole do in fact stack but luck addons, I don't know. They might.

Luck only works on hook escape attempts and bear trap escape attempts.
