New Survivor Perk Concept: Take a Breather
While in a locker, you would no longer be blinded and instead all survivors within 24 meters of a gen will be shown to you. After a quick exit of the locker, you will gain haste for 15/20/25 seconds.
The idea is that you would either:
- Use it to see where everyone is and have a small 7% speed boost to get where you need to be
- Combo well with Inner strength, quick and quiet, head on

Remove the kille aura, and this perk will be great for finding survivors! :)

It could show the killers aura in a certain radius, but being able to see him all the time in preschool especially no no

I agree, the killer aura needs taken out. A swf would be able to safely call out a killer's position with one person hiding in lockers. Other than that, I'd say it's a pretty good perk suggestion. Alternatively, you could make it so all generators and totems are revealed to you instead of survivor auras. Then it could help find difficult totem spawns or sneaky generators.

With a perk called Take A Breather, it should also speed up exhaustion recovery. Just common sense imo

Well the idea is that you would take a breather and then run faster for x amount of time. Resting so you can sprint.
Not a bad idea but it wasnt what I was going for seeing as that would counter itself in that people would be in lockers instead of working which inevitably you would recover from exhaustion

Fair point. In that case, it could be like Insidious, and any time your standing still for long enough, you get a 20% or so boost to recovery

Much to powerful to not have a down side.
Maybe when you get out of the locker you reveal your aura to the killer for a few seconds.

Well that downside would actually help you because the killer would chase you but you would be faster.
Could require 6/5/4 seconds in the locker to activate and keep the time at 20 seconds then?

I still think being able to just hide in lockers to see the killer is OP af. The only way currently to spot the killer is by completing a gen, using the rainbow map, if HE breaks something or if you both reveal your aura to each others.
So if you want to be able to see the killer aura every 20s you have to either make it so it put YOU in danger or the killer does something to trigger it.
Just imagine in SWF how game breaking this would be...

oh no the aura reading part is only while you are in the locker. The haste is applied for 20 seconds after you leave it.

but also i agree. The above persons enlightened me for i didnt think about how annoying it would be for swf.
I came to the conclusion that auras of survivors within 16-24 meters would be shown.
No blindness either
and haste after leaving it

If it's within 16m-24m that's ok but seeing the killer aura from any locker is much too OP.

I could just hide in a closet everytime I see one and run opposite of the killer.
