Survival Guide

Survivor main here giving tips and tricks for starting survivors. We will just cover the basics and from there you'll be able to learn what works for you

First thing first is select a Survivor with perks that you like and stick with them until you Max them out at lvl 50. Each survivor has their own unique set of perks You'll be able to teach their perks to other characters as you level them through the bloodweb.

Don't worry about which perks are good at this point in the game it will not matter until you've leveled your characters a decent amount.

The 2nd thing you need to know is do Gens above anything else this is how you survive the trail by completing all 5 gens. Each time you start a gen it will make noise as it progresses and failing a skill check will make it lose progress and alert the killer to your position.

The 3rd thing is knowing when it is safe to do Gens or rescue a teammate from the killer.

You'll know you're in the killers range when you hear a heart beat and you'll know if he is looking in your direction if he has a red light at his feet pointing in your direction.

It is always good to save teammates because the more of you that are alive the harder it becomes for the killer. Remember it's one of him and 4 of you. He can only be on one place at a time while you and your team can be in 3 places at once. So when you think it is safe to rescue a teammate from the hook . Try to if you can.

(No heart beat -no red light)

Survivors have 3 health stats they can be in while not on the hook.

Healthy-Injured- dying while you're on hook you've two phase being hooked and struggle phase

The last thing you should worry about is synergetic perks that work well together for instance you might find a perk that doesn't do much by itself but if you pair it with another perk it will be good.

Here is an example "boil over" is a perk that increases your wiggle speed and doesn't show near by hooks to killers.

By itself but doesn't sound like it will help you a lot but if you pair it with a perk like "Flip Flop" a perk that convert your dying stat recovery into wiggle recovery . These two perks will increase you chance of getting out of the killers grasp .
