A Revived Appreciation For Wraith

I disrespected Wraith in my tier list a while ago, putting him in D tier. I had a few comments telling me he’s too low, and for good reason. I’ve absolutely been wrecking some of the best SWF groups on Xbox at rank 1. Best part is the salt it brought! I’ll be honest, I definitely overlooked Wraith (Plague as well) and focused more on other killers. I now have revived love for my first main, Bell Boi. ❤️

Heres the build I use:

  1. Surveillance
  2. Discordance (Incredibly amazing with Wraith, 100% my favorite on him)
  3. Nurses Calling
  4. Pop Goes The Weasel

    Honestly i still feel one of his best perks is actually pwyf. having basically a 15% extra speed boost on demand is incredibly fun. thrill of the hunt with specific addons on a good map can make totem grabbing wraith almost as scary as prayer beads spirit. Brutal/bamboozle can be god tier on some builds, and honestly if theres enough line of sight breakers on a map, his stealth can be great too.

    His mirror shine style invisibility doesn't hide you fully though, which makes him a lot like ghost face in a way. ghost face is simply better as he can get exposed effects off on survivors, and can activate his stealth mid chase.

    I like him a lot as well. Honestly if they tweaked the shimmer to where he is invis until a certain amount of meters or if he just couldn't be seen until he is getting out of it (in exchange for him being fully invis though he would have to have something done to make it balanced) I would play him more if one of those tweaks happened. But he's great rn as well.

    If they bumped up his invis speed, made him invisible past a certain range , and extended his speed boost a little more..hed be a fun peekaboo killer

    I think he's great even without a build, in that he can surprise you (even if you see the shimmer, you still have to get to safety versus his cloak speed + incredi-lunge), plus you can just cloak after the hit and there's nothing the survivor can do. They simply can't get away, allowing you to decloak and nail them again through a window or around a pallet. I've seen him do well in games lately.

    Bubba is more fun, especially with mad grit. :P I actually just picked someone up, turned around while starting to swing and smacked a wounded survivor, it was funny. XD
