Moris

I don't think they should be secret anymore. I feel like survivors should be able to see what kind of mori you have.

I see so much toxicity from survivors when a mori is in play, before they even know what kind it is. I've been trying to run a Cypress on the Demogorgon all day today because I really like his moris, but then the survivors play toxic as hell and have super bad manners in post-game chat. I don't really like Ebonies myself, and I can understand when survivors have poor reactions to players being carried to the win by them, but I don't like being treated like ######### for trying to kill the last survivor thats gonna die anyway. Its just annoying and discourages me from playing.

Let me know what you guys think, I'd be down for discussion.

Survivor mains need to grow up..a mori is strong but hardly unbeatable, you still have to lose 2 chases for it to get you , now getting tunneled sucks but you know, there are plenty of things killers get tired of but have to deal with as well..

Survivors already know you have a mori because the dev's nerfed the offerings and put the killers offering into it's own box if you go to the menu ingame. Plenty of baby survivors will DC before the game even starts because of cypress mori's; or my favorite, trolling with shroud of separation.

Survivors have so many OP items that you really can't complain when the killer brings in some OP offerings. Gotta love bringing an ebony to stomp the SWF stacks who bring in like 2 instaheals and 2 BNPs.

Just think about it, if you show the mori they are more likely to DC during the loading. IF you don't show the mori than there is a 2/4 ( yellow mori and the survivor spawn thing ) chance that it is isn't gonna break the game.

Also a mori is definitely game breaking, as eliminating a player very early one screws the balance of the game.

So you're telling people to grow up but have the mindset of "well the other side has things they can use to mess with us" (despite it not being on the same scale as an ebony mori) and insist theres no problem? There is clearly a problem if it makes the game completely unenjoyable.

Your right..they have things that are even worse on their side ^^ thanks for reaffirming my point

Removing someone from the game is more powerful than everything the survivors have, including the key. It requires more work to get a key into play than a mori by far.

Yeah because one time use insta-heals are worse than a mori. Not to mention keys are late game and you can mori people with 5 gens left. Nice comparison!

Just remove the Ebony Mori, it's unhealthy for the game anyway. As a trade we could get rid of Keys at all too.

EDIT: Oh wait, some people think that keys are actually fair lol. With keys you can: open the hatch after the killer closed it (######### lol), open the hatch with only two (!) generators completed. And the most important thing is, keys can be found in chests. So even if you just go with "Franklin's Demise" everytime you see a key, survivors can still escape with it. It's basically the same problem with Moris. It shortens the objective of each side. The killer can use it at the beginning of the match, but he loses points and pips because of it. Survivors can use it midgame and just end the game with little effort. And they get points, even more points than through the normal escape way.

So yes, they are equally broken.

  • Memento Mori:  is a Latin phrase that translates to "remember you must die."

They exist for a reason to show that mortality comes for us all, whether we know it or not (Secret).

Also in my opinion just make all killer and survivor offerings secret, easy fix.
