like make them 40000 instead of 32

The 8k cap per category should get removed. (It's annoying if you don't get bloodpoints for doing what the game requires you to do, simply because you maxxed out one category 2 minutes into the game.)
But let's keep 32k as an overall cap so that we don't get endless farming games.

I could agree with this considering how much easier it is to max out deviousness over sacrifice. With sacrifice, you pretty much need 12 hooks to get all the points. If someone suicides on hook, doesn't get saved fast enough or dies on their 1st or 2nd hook...your not getting full points.

@LordGlint Yup. It's an issue for survivors as well. You maxx out Boldness super fast, for example, and then you are getting chased and miss out on bp for Objective & Altruism.

I wouldnt know about that one. I avoid getting in chases whenever possible, and instead will just be a ninja when working on gens or getting saves. Was that a Claudette just now? Youll never know....

In most of my survivors games I end up with 15-17k points escaping the trial.
Considering the predatory grind, that the new changes to the bloodweb do not really address, sonething needs to be done

@LordGlint And that's totally fine. If you end up saving & healing "too many" people, you'll also reach the cap.
I "love" these situations when I maxxed out my Altruism (and my Benevolence Emblem) and then in the end of the match, a survivor gets hooked and I have nothing to gain by saving them.

The bloodweb changes help make it so you dont have to burn as many bloodwebs to get the perks you want. In this end...it DOES help make your bloodpoints go further.

It does help me with 1000 hours in the game, it doesn't help a new player reach level 40 to unlock teachables.
It's not a real solution, the grind is still predatory for a non mmrpg game

Well, can be the same for Objective. Just work on 2 Gens with another Survivor and you will have Objectives almost maxed. Now, what does the game want you to do when you have 8k Objective Points? Nothing, because you have reached the maximum which can be acquired by one Survivor?
The bizarre thing is, they even buffed Boldness-Gain by buffing the Totems, and still, for Survival you need to have to do so much. I only managed to get 8k Survival Points twice. And this was vs Freddy: Waking up several times, opening Exit Gate during EGC, DS (resulting in 1k Survival Points) and Surviving. And I played 2300hrs. But I dont want to count how often I maxed out the other Categories already.
One time the Killer was afk, so two Survivors where farming Points by running in front of him, afterwards they said they got the max Bloodpoints...Which is 29k for Survivor.
So yeah, removing the Category Cap would be great. I mean, let this guy get 20k Objective Points, when he does not want to get chased.

While it's true that it doesnt help you hit lvl 40 faster in order to unlock teachables, it DOES help get perks on your character that youve already unlocked.

The solution is to have survivors score more or less 25 k on a successful escape, the amount of BP for each trial is ridiculous.
And playing killer isn't a solution since its damn stressful to do so, we need more BP or a real reduction of the grind, such as removal of perks tiers

I bet nearly every Survivor ends up with at least one Category maxed when he escaped. So this would help to boost BPs for Survivors. I mean, just do two Dull Totems and you have 1/4 of Boldness. 1 gen with another person is almost half of Objectives. Meanwhile you get 100 Survival Points for mending yourself. Wuhuu!
Re: Perk Tiers:
I would love to level up Perks by playing them. Even more when there would be an Endurance-way and a Skill-full way. e.g. BBQ: Endurance Way: Hook 100 Survivors. Skillful way: Hook two survivors in between 1 minute 10 times. This would actually be more fun than clicking the Bloodweb over and over again just to get the choice between Monstrous Shrine Tier 2 or Knockout TIer 3.

I mean at this point anything to make this game less grindy.
When I ma gage to escape I often score less than 15k points, this means 67 games to bring one single survivor to level 40 for the teachables.
Considering how slow is the matchmaking on ps4 sometimes, its a long long journey that the new system doesn't address at all.
So anything to make this better

True, and still this is another of bhvr half baked solutions.
They had to be. Uh bolder, but you can clearly see from their responses that someone in th higher plans is against reducing the grind

Removing the category cap would help. If you only increase the bp per action, you are facing the same problem we are currently having. Imagine getting twice the bp amount for totems, for example: I would probably end up with the Boldness category being maxxed out, as I already do now, while not having enough Objective points. Not much would change.

If your solution can help a single survivor scoring around 25k BP when escaping, I'm OK with that.
As long as more BP are awarded to fight this unbearable grind
