Survivors on multiple gens.

Ive always wondered and never did the math or anything but I want to ask.

Is it quicker for two survivors to do one gen together or for two do to do two different at the same time? Theres a debuff when more then one is on a gen so i always assumed being on different gens is actually more effecient . am i wrong?

In a perfect world yes, two survivors on their own gen is better. However in the situations you get in. Sometimes it’s better for 2 or more people to be on a gen because it might be in a bad stop and you just want to get that one done ASAP without risking being in that spot longer.

Got you. I mean , if two gens are being started at the same time by two different survivors. Thats faster then two survivors cracking out a gen then hopping on a new one? Like can two gens be dome faster by two survivors on different gens or be faster by two survivors doing two gens together?

    With no perks

1 survivor takes 80 seconds to do 1 gen.

2 survivors together take 44 seconds to do 1 gen, with prove thyself the time is cut to 40 seconds.

It's situational which is better. But usually you wanna split up

it's more efficient if survivors split up and work on separate gens. not only do gens get done quicker but the killer also has less opportunities to snowball

You generally want all survivors (if you’re playing as survivor) on different gens until you have one gen left, then you want one guy behind chased, two on one gen and one in another.

I forget most things are circumstantial with this game. I was just hoping for some straight up math but i get it more.

Multiple survivors doing multiple gens is better in the long run since less gens need to be done in around the same amount of time

Killer can't force you all off the gens if you're split up. That's why it's so efficient.

I like working on gens with someone else when I have spine chill so I can walk off and they get hit instead.
