My Idea to the notorious Gen Rush Topic
Hello guys
First, whats is a typical Gen-Rush scenario?
Everyone stays on a gen, idealy all seperated. If someone goes down and then hooked, survivors prioritice the generators and only go for the instant unhook if they are very close.
Once the unjured Survivor is getting unhooked, he stays injured and wont heal himself or get healded und instantly goes for the next gen.
Usually this is because survivors run Adrenaline and they rely on that perk. A very effective strategy.
i am probably not that first who thought about that, but i could not find a topic that is revolving around this.So here is my idea:
- When you are getting injured "Ineffective" Status begins with 0%
- Every 15 seconds it raises up by 1%, until it reaches 25%
- Every 2 seconds it raises up by 1%, if you are repairing a Generator
- Every % means X% slower repair speed on a Generator
This might actually do many things.
- Healing becomes more effective then it is now
- Adrenaline would become less effective
- Legion, who is currently a really bad Killer would get a passiv buff
- Less Genrushing overall
What do you think about that idea?

It's a good idea in concept but how would you remove ineffectiveness , if it's only healing then insta down perks and insta down killers would skyrocket in usage

Uhhh, Killers have perks that HINT at where they are at, very little perks are used to track
Looping has been nerfed for games health

I think it would not change that a lot, but it would force survivor to heal each other. Like i said, maybe this would buff Legion a bit, also most other killers that dont have crazy movement speed (and therefore are usually a bit weaker then billy, nurse and spirit)

I didn't say you couldn't track, I said very little perks are used to track
PERKS
Everything you just said pretty much can be enhanced by perks used to hint or track
Breathing is Stridor, you can only hear breathing with thins perk pretty much
Crows are situational, and also Spies from the shadows helps a bit
Healing is nurses and hearing, but is countered by not healing in the TR
Repairing is used with hearing, not a perk
Cleansing can be pretty quiet if you know the killer is not nearby
Running is easily countered with lightweight

This is a really good idea, I like it! The numbers can obviously always be tweaked but overall it is a really good idea and could be healthy for the game!

This sounds awful. Staying injured is a trade off to getting Generators done. If you are running adrenaline great, you might get the last one done and recover. I really don't think this aspect needs to change. People only ever leave their team mate if the killer is camping too close. Patrol gens after hooks, don't get baited into chases you can't win.
