Question about rules.
So my teenager plays this game and I saw that alt accounts can get you permabanned , can I be banned for my family playing on a different account but the same PS4 ? I know it may be a dumb question but it never really specifies and if I have more than one account linked to my IP I don't want get in trouble if that's somehow against the rules

Do you use two or more forum accounts? If yes, you're going to get permanently banned because you are not allowed to own two accounts under any circumstance. However, if you only use your forum account, and yours only, then you're fine! 🙂

Of course this is my only account I'm talking about on my game system if my son signs into his name and plays dead by daylight which I bought digitally on my name but it's shared between me and my family

Now I don't intend to do this myself but it is a thought that occurred to me.
If you had created two accounts at the same time, and one gets banned, does the other account count as a ban evade?
Or what if two people using the same IP have forum accounts that they use on and off and one gets banned, would you guys also ban the other since they would be sharing the same location and wifi?

About the first case, it would be better to contact us about it, so we can avoid that situation.
About the second one, it can happen and in that case as well it would be better to contact us, explaining the situation, so we can solve the issue.
But overall we judge case by case.

No one in my home actually goes to the forums besides me, so if I ever get banned you can expect I'll be out for good.

We don't allow alternate accounts on the forum, in game you can purchase the game (or steam family share on PC) and have more than one account, unless it's being used to evade a ban.

Oh, I see what he was talking now Mandy, he was talking about a Dead by Daylight account. I'm so sorry, I thought he was talking about a forum account because I was like woah really! :)
