Thrill of the Hunt + Buff

I've thought of a really good buff for hex totems: Thrill of the hunt alerts the players that something fishy is going on and also applies to dull totems. Make it so it alerts dull totems only to the killer and the thrill effect will appear if a survivor is cleaning a HEX totem, not a DULL one.

tbh I don't get what you are trying to explain. Right now Hex: Thrill of the Hunts gives more BP, increases the cleansing time for Hex: Totems and gives a notification for them. What do you want?

Doesn't mean it can get a buff.

It's quite simple: Whenever a survivor is cleansing a dull totem, they get alerted that Thrill of the Hunt is a perk that the killer is running. What I propose is that it doesn't alert the survior that Thrill of the Hunt is a thing until they start cleansing a HEX totem.

It can also be deactivated for a perk that gives BPs, and its effect is often very weak.

While your idea is good, I have one simple change that'll make it better: This perk is no longer a hex perk.

It's effect is so minor that it shouldn't be tied to a hex.

Thrill as a perk but it spawns a false Hex Totem. Cleansing it just counts as cleansing a Totem, but visually it's no different to a hex. Cleansing it doesn't deactivate the perk. The reasoning for this would be if you are running one actual Hex with Thrill then you'd at least have a potential redundant one but you'd also be able to better keep an eye on your actual Hex as killer.

Even if they don't get the notification, they still know you're running TotH, 'cause it slows down the cleansing speed. I have nothing against a buff, but this doesn't seem to do it for me.

Right now, it's a perk that helps you to protect your Hexes. Just making it a non-Hex:Totem is huge buff. They wouldn't get the notification but as I said, they can see or atleast feel that the cleansing speed is slower.
