What i'd change
- Shrine needs a rework! At least change it to 8 perks, it's not 2017 anymore!!! We are about to hit 2020 with so many new perks added. It's outdated!
- rework struggle and wiggle! Literally NOONE with some hours played enjoys this mechanic. We HATE IT! And some people won't even bother to struggle or wiggle because of the button smashing like an ape. We are human gamers and not apes.
- Trapper still has to collect all his traps around the map. gg wp, high tier killer lol
- Doctor still eats FPS for breakfast
- Grabs are still broken (no its not latency because it used to be working normal 2016 till spirit release)
- Nurse still gets double stuns (mainly caused by grabbing fail)
- Billy still has ghosthits with his chainsaw (was it ever attempted to fix it by the devs? They just remain silent about that)
- Ghostface still inconsistent and buggy for both sides
- Ormond map has still broken/terrible visibility of auras and scratchmarks, gg wp on ignoring this easy task devs
- still no ingame settings like any other game. Even call of duty 2 had more settings and it was a multiplayer game aswell. The "we did it on purpose so noone can get an advantage" argument is not legit and super old. It's just laziness, that's why you haven't added more settings for your gaming community
Devs wake up already. Change your priority list. Stop adding more and more content without increasing the quality significantly. We already have enough content, take a step back.
Rant end.

WooooWeeeeee! And what a rant it was too! I Agree with most of it btw, though maybe with a bit less emotion. 😏

I mean they have made a lot of healthy changes to the game in the past, they can't do everything at once.
On the other hand, I agree with pretty much everything here. Struggling in particular needs to go. A core mechanic that is absolutely awful. I can only hope it happens as fast as possible.

"Everything at once"
Mate, some stuff is there since release and they refuse to even talk about that.

Im not a robot. Sorry, but I will show some emotions.

I think 4 perks is fine. But, maybe 5 or 6 wouldn't be bad.

The one that stands out the most to me here is Shrine of Secrets.
I find it a bit ridiculous that you can advertise your locked-behind-purchases Perks as normally-available Perks because they MIGHT appear in the SoS.
Barbecue & Chili being the perfect recent example of why i don't like SoS.
2 -
@Boss They claim the SoS is completely random and every Perk has an equal chance of appearing. I really have to question that, because if Space Coconut was right in one of his recent videos, in the two years BBQ has been available, it's appeared in the SoS only three times.
Considering that is one of the most sought after Killer perks due to the BP bonus, it does make it suspicious, if his three times in two years was correct, about the SoS being "completely random."

Never remove wiggling, I don’t wanna end up in the basement every game and I guarantee survivors don’t wanna end up in bubbas basement:

Just saying he's most likely right.

@GrootDude I wouldn't advocate removing wiggle, but changing it into simply holding a key or controller button would be an improvement and much more tolerable.
Obviously, wiggling needs to stay to avoid constant basements. But there's no reason to make it a button tapping instead of a simple, and less aggravating, hold-a-key. They could even make it holding a key and having to do skill checks, thereby keeping people engaged.

-Doctor still eats FPS for breakfast
That made me laugh, not because it's true but the way you worded it to be humorous! 🙂

I dont mind wiggling, lack of more settings or Shrine.
All others, especially the grabs and struggling on hook, I agree with.

This thread got me thinking about a new alternative to wiggling. The new thread is up if you want to check it out.

@GrootDude Crap! Ignore my previous reply. I'm multitasking and got my wires crossed.
It isn't wiggling that I have an issue with the button tapping on, it's the damned Struggling mechanic on the hook.
That crap needs to be changed to a simple hold-a-button, or hold and skill checks.

I personally just wish perks like flip flop boil over and slippery meat made wiggling out faster

Always thought shrine should have 4 killer perks 4 survivors perks

Yes! YAAAA! * shakes fist furiously * Don't you hate pants!?

Please change wiggle and struggle. I legit had to quit playing survivor after my carpal tunnel surgery because of it.

I really hope Struggle doesn't change to skill checks, that would negate part of the reason for the change. You're doing nothing, waiting to get back into the game by the grace of your teammates in relation to the killer. You want to watch the game, see where people are and what's being done, and scratch that itch on your arm that you couldn't while you were running from the killer. You don't want to stay glued to the screen, listening for skill checks while the heartbeat goes off on your ears and you're trying to figure out where the exit gates are.
Please please just remove the struggle and make it a button to hold if you want to give up. Let us hang there in peace!

I agree with most of these things, but a couple stand out in particular.
- The shrine. I absolutely agree that the shrine should be 8 perks. 4 survivor perks and 4 killer perks. Each side would have 2 "meta" or extremely good perks, one mediocre one and one highly situational one. This would lead to some more variety in shrine since people have way more choice, compared to now where you can look at what the best perk in shrine is, and know what perk will be in the next god knows how many games for about a week or two.
- Struggle. Personally, I've never had a problem with wiggling, but struggling should go. It makes the survivor side unfair for people with health problems and on top of that, it doesn't work half the time when you are pressing it. A lag spike or simply the button press not registering can lead to an unintentional early death.
- Billy's Ghosthits. As someone who is a P3 Billy main, I can't tell you how bad this pisses me off. I have a chainsaw lined up ready for a down, only for autolock to screw me and stop just short of the survivor, causing them to get away. I'd like to know why this is even a thing.
- Doctor and Frame Rate. It's not as bad as it was before, but it still isn't great. I don't play against a lot of Doctors, but when I do, it is agonizing. His ability drops the already 30fps on console down to -5fps. Combine this with overcharge and lullaby and they are guaranteed to miss skill checks and regress those gens.

"automatic wiggle mechanic"

I was only talking about smashing buttons. Ofc holding a button or similar would replace it to avoid basement everytime.

I agree with all these points, especially ormound, the map in-general is horribly optimized...
And YES! Someone finally talking about billys phantom chainsaw hits...
The Shrine really does need an update for how many perks there are these days, even if they increase the shard costs... it would still be better than waiting literally weeks for the specific perks you want...
It needs a more modern spin on it, hopefully after Dedicated Servers they'll consider a change for it.

I absolutely agree with everything mentioned

The current priorities of the devs:
- Outfits
- More Outfits
- Outfits for breakfast, lunch and dinner
The priorities that MUST be TOP of the devs:
- Generators (they are correct) KAPPA x2
- Rework of maps (after 1 century will arrive ...)
- Updates of the low tiers killers (after 1 century will arrive ...)
- Rework of perks (after 1 century it will arrive ...)

And they also need to restore the broken animation of the destruction of pallets for a killer from the 1st person. They broke this animation 2 years ago and still have not fixed it!!!!!!!
I agree with the author of the post. Developers need to start "polishing" the game in terms of fixing animations (or maybe even returning to old versions of animations), fixing character models, etc.
Because animations and character models are what newcomers are looking at first. It’s also necessary to return the old lighting to the lobby (darker) and ultra-rare perks (the Blood Web and so much easier already).
