New Exhaustion Perk?

I have an idea for a new exhaustion perk, but please let me know if it's too similar to adrenaline or sprint burst.

I haven't come up with a name, but the gist of the perk is that whenever you complete a generator, you get a burst of speed for a couple seconds. It only works if you are the one completing the generator, and gives the exhausted effect.

It might be good for when you've 99%'d a gen and the killer is running at you, so you commit and finish it. Getting away would be easier.

You can do the same with Sprint Burst, plus SB can help you in other situations.

I just don't see a reason why you would want to equip this perk when SB is available.

Unless this perk worked for longer and had one more activation method - its just SB

Maybe instead of giving you a speed boost, it'll instantly refresh any exhaustion you have already, letting you use your sprint burst or dead hard to get away. You could call the perk Epiphany or Flash of Hope or something...

I actually like this a lot more. Maybe it could remove all effects like mangled or broken (except for no mither)

Nah, we don't want it too overpowered...resetting exhaustion and maybe shortening cooldowns, that should balanceable

Sounds like it'd pair well with that jane perk (I don't remember the name right now), where the scratches disappear after you (or someone else) complete a gen.

that's Poised. It activates after you complete a gen, and at level 3 hides scratch marks for 10 seconds. It totally would work good with the speed boost, but as some have said it'd basically be sprint burst with only one way to use it.

I agree with @GeneralSpudmuffin that it should clear exhaustion effects/reduce the cooldown.

I can already see a gen revolved build for this. Poised, your perk (I will call denouement, which basically means the final act of a show and is a synonym to finish), bond/better together and prove thyself while bringing a repair toolbox and objective bp increase offering. Find a generator or teammate using bond/better together. Finish it quicker with prove thyself and toolbox. When finished and the killer is not chasing someone, they could go to your gen. By the time he gets there, you are far away using denouement and not as trackable using poised. But that's if we are talking about your original idea.

Same build but if you use the second suggestion (Decreased exhaustion cooldown or reset), the poised can make it so the killer can't track you and when he does, then you can use an exhaustion perk that substitutes prove thyself (As you already have a toolbox to help with repair speed).

I'd like to see this with the next survivor in the following DLC.

The last exhaustion-sprint perk they can come up with is a perk that gives sprint burst after a pallet drop/pallet stun. I know it's stupid, but it's the only thing is left.
