What color clothing actually helps you more in terms of stealth??
Dark/black clothing works well in areas of shade, while green is good at helping you blend in with the grass. Apart from the maps where this doesn't really help (like game), which is more useful and why?

Full Cult of Dwight pizza garb. Helps blend in with lockers.6

Realistically if you have an offering and actually get it then go with the clothing for that offering. But to the people whining about all dark outfits while not whining about said dark outfits on maps where it's a liability. I've found really dark outfits to be bad and it's far better to go with something that's middle range color wise.
Think camouflage and how it actually works by blurring and mixing different shades of colors. someone like Meg or Nea are 2 of the best actual ones to sue since their character models are so small. The outfits with different shade combo's that match well are harder to see than an all black outfit Claudette.
I say that last part as a Claudette main since I've got no issue usually with finding the dark outfitted Claudettes on dark maps.

You will change your mind after you verse a dark-green claudette on swamp. Next time I face a SWF with that cosmetics using a swamp offering, I will simply DC

In corn maps someone could be wearing the brightest clothing - I still wouldn't be able to see them, am totally corn blind!
In general I find the dark olive clothes harder to spot than the black clothes - they seem to blend in better to the background, especially one of the Feng Mings new cosmetics.

Ace's bloody clothes make him blend in great in dark spots when you face away from stuff. Especially against dark brick areas.

You could legit be wearing all red in the corn fields and I will not find you...ever. In the corn fields anything will camoflauge you honestly.1

Thank you, which just validates my point about super dark clothes which in fact work opposite of the way camouflage works. As @Khroalthemadbomber said about Ace's clothes the same is true for some of the other ones. Bill is a nightmare to find sometimes since he blends in so well if done right. While Dark Green Claudette is a pain on swamp the key thing here is this.
You don't know what map you're actually going to get when you pick your clothes unless you're doing an offering and 1 or more people choose the same 1. That Olive Green Claudette is great on Swamp but on Giedon's, Lery's and a few others it's a Free Kill here flashing Neon sign with arrows for the killer.

I like wearing the security guard outfit for David (all black). A Freddy walked right past me twice and a doctor walked past me once. I was terrified!1

Black, Dark red or Dark Green. Any shades of white ruin it though.
Claudette , Jake and Ace are my top picks for pulling off good in game camo looks.
