4 minute game...
I was demo on shelter woods, and despite my best efforts, the game was 3-4 minutes long.
Do any of you see something wrong with that?
If that does not prove that killers have no power than I do not know what will.

I just had a game on Ormond with several thousand hour survivors. They finished 3 gens within 2 minutes
Fun. Even they said sorry they just wanted the escape points from my streamer

It goes both ways.
If people get found and downed quickly they're gonna get killed in a few minutes.
It's just how the game appears to be designed at this moment. You either totally destroy or get totally destroyed. I rarely see something in between.

I mean, you played with the new Killer. Probably not experienced with him. And most likely no real Perks.
What do you expect from Survivors when you are not able to give any pressure at all? You did not give any information, so I guess it was one of your first games and you have not much unlocked on Demogorgon. Quite logical that you get your ass beaten in those Matches.

That's an off-game for sure, but as a survivor I have that too, on the other end. A killer (especially during Rank Reset) dominates us so hard that no gen is done and we all get killed out with 3k~ pts. It happens sometimes, and you just gotta move on and try again. While certain perks will help, depending on your playstyle and strategy, sometimes it matters if you hook someone early, as it can snowball into constantly keeping them rescuing teammates, preferably without camping.

Did you just sit there for 4 minutes and do nothing? What were your perks? No ruin, corrupt intervention, pop goes the weasel?

I mean yeah it can go both ways to be honest. Had a game as a wraith last 5 minutes where everyone was on the floor or hooked. It just depends my guy. It sucks that you got matched with those kinds of people. That right there proves that something needs to be done about ranks/rank reset.

No pressure. I just had a 4 minute game too. The survivors were hitting my traps faster than I could gather them. 4k in 4m.

I've had no issue with gen rushes. I've learnt from my wraith days that abandoning chases for gens is important.

Well you can say the same thing for survivors... Some games you get destroyed others you destroy.

I suspect one of two things:
- You got a game with a De-pip Squad SWF.
- I hate to break the news to you, but you were either outplayed or made too many mistakes.
I hardly ever see a game fly by that fast, so maybe it was the combination of 1 and 2? I can see you doing your best, but if the survivors you're facing are just way better than your best, then I think your rank is messed up in my opinion. You shouldn't be faced with survivors who out right destroy you - the ranking system should give both teams should an equal chance of winning. However, no offense, since the survivors you were facing are way better than you, they probably had a higher rank than you? Maybe that's the problem? :)

well I did not play much since rank reset, but I am currently rank 11, i'm usually rank 5-6.

Yeah, you probably got a sweaty SWF squad from the last rank season who haven't ranked up yet. :)
I seen your other thread about it happening in multiple games, and it seems like you're getting matched with survivors who appear to be rank 11, but are actually rank 1 from the last season.

almost every time I get 3 or more survivors that join the same time, i'm dodging. I know I could try to get better, but I do not want to be miserable either.

So, I just played a survivor game with my wife. She is legally blind, and has bad carpal tunnel in her right hand. In short, she is a potato in this game. She ran the killer (and she sucks at looping!!) for 4 gens. Needless to say, this guy got owned and cried about how powerful survivors were. He was horrible as a killer. Keep in mind, my wife runs nearly straight, does not mind game well, and throws every pallet she goes through. She is rank 17.
When you don't pressure the map, you get owned. That simple.
EDIT: For the record, this guy made every bad decision you can make as a killer. He did not try to mind game. He kept missing. Tried to swing at every pallet.

Are you saying I did everything the guy as killer did? You would not know that. I did mind game sometimes (trying to fake movements on 1 survivor while not trying to protect the gens and possibly wasting time) I rarely missed, and I do not swing at every pallet.

I have no idea what you did. What I can say, as someone who mains and plays mostly M1 killers, is you are not pressuring the map very well if you had 6 matches in a row getting owned. You have to be willing to drop chases to pressure gens. Not sure what you are doing, but you are doing something wrong.

I mean it kinda does. It's just not op really, not against good killers, if anything it's the killers fault for not doing anything about it.
I hope with the upcoming map reworks people will realise gen speed isn't an issue, but I doubt it.

What you mention even happens at red ranks as most killers just think it's never their fault at all. They get gen rushed and blame all game mechanics but themselves. I've had so many occasions where I loop killers away from the gen location into god loops and they just follow me.. Basically get baited into areas of the map with zero gens, but cry about gen speeds..
It's as if they expect nobody can land a hex ruin skill check, rofl. They get so comfy chasing across the map because it's still up. I do sympathize with instantly cleansed totems at the start of the game, but idk how they can fix rng totem placement.
Also, they don't run pop or kick gens, but refuse to believe it's just gen speed. It's w/e let them cry, killer queue times are already long. There is no shortage of killers in queue.

Woah woah woah. You said you ran Ruin, Corrupt, AND discordance? And they still finished the game and got the gates open in 4 minutes?
I don't even think that's actually possible within the laws of time.
Sounds like either A: It FELT like 4 minutes to you but was actually longer or B: you really weren't doing much, Ruin must have popped while corrupt was still active, and you weren't patrolling gens at all.
I feel like we're missing some details here. The way Corrupt Intervention works, it's damn near impossible to pop a gen in those 2 minutes because the killer only has 4 gens to patrol instead of the total 7, and all those gens are relatively close together.

People in general are full of #########. If you watch multiple streamers you will see them crying about 5 min gen rushes too, but I've timed there matches and they go up to 10min +
Also, im not adding in the time for opening gates and endgame. People will cry about everything till it benefits them. It's just the way it goes.

I had a game a few weeks ago as doctor, ruin stayed up the entire match, I got all four of my bbq stacks, hooked 2 survivors twice- game lasted just over 5 minutes.

I had a four minute game recently as well, would’ve only been over a minute if nobody got the 4%. 4K by snowball.
