Yet another killer tier list from 2300 hours rank 1 survivor perspective

This is based on my experience. Been playing mostly survivor since Myers got released.

Some choices may look odd, like trapper for example. But some of the best trappers out there, that you encounter at rank 1, find the most creative and effective spots to place their traps. Probably one of the most annoying killers to play against since you really need to be immersed against him to not step into any of his traps. And almost no survivors are immersed at rank 1.

I would put hag on B tier and huntress on A tier but other than that I agree with this list completely

I don't think legion is better than wraith and leatherface, and in the same tier than plague or huntress.

Trapper is the worst killer in the game, even Otzdarva's Trapper gets rekted by half decent teams, there is no way he is A tier. Clown better than Myers ?!! Plague and Huntress that low ?!!

Trapper, on paper, yeah, is one of the worse, but in the right hands, which he mostly is at rank 1, he just destroys everyone. Especially if it's someone that has played survivor a lot and knows the routes that they like to take. Plague and huntress are very easy to loop at rank 1.

It hurts how many people I see put Huntress as a mid-low tier. Her skill ceiling and map pressure are off the chart depending on the skill on the person playing her. UmbraBug is one of the main streamers I know who is amazing with her, but I'm sure there's more.

She's definitely above Clown for sure

I know a lot of Trapper mains who plays him from 2016. Trust me, he only destroy potatoes survivors. Don't even put me to make a list about all of Trapper's weaknesses, it would take ages.

From what I saw, most people put her as number 5-6.

    Totally agree actually.

That's not true. He has a very strong power that can end chases very fast and even catch multiple survivors at once, which only leatherface can do.

Good trapper players are rare though. Most of them just put traps in pallets and under windows, which means they basically sabotage themselves. However from time to time one of those good trapper players comes along and hides his traps in the least expected places and mindfucks everyone. That's why I put him so high, because I've witnessed many times how strong he can be in the right hands. Same with Hag.

Huntress is the easiest killer to loop. Even if your aim is godlike, you still need line of sight, which you won't get very often against a good survivor.

He doesn't have a strong power that can end chases very fast, he has a power that makes him lose at least 2 gens because of the set up time, traps can be disarmed very easily, SWF teams can tell to each other where traps are, Object of Obsession and Small Game can tell where his traps are, very add-on reliant, Dead Hard counters traps, [BAD WORD] hitboxes on traps, his power relies on RNG and I could say even more IMO.

any killer list with trapper at A tier is just joke tbh

Probably the best tier list I've seen. And if you think putting trapper on A list is a joke, you obviously haven't played any red rank trappers. They are tough.

I don't know about the new killer yet though. From what I've played against him he's been pretty weak. The only time he has gotten a 4k against my group is when he had a mori.

Huntress is really dependent on the user and the map but more often than not she's a potato.

I personally don't think Trapper and GhostFace are better than Demogorgon. Clown imo isn't better than Plague and that's what I disagree with.

Ya Myers is inferior to Ghotface on several levels. What Myers excels at is the fact he wont get broken out by survivors. Yet a good Ghostface wont be broken out.

  • FireHazard
    FireHazard Member Posts: 7,314

Myers is better trust me, here's why.

    • Constant stealth, he doesn't need to re-activate it every time its broken or gone.
    • Pocket Tier lll, it can be stored to use at any time and gives the exposed status effect to ALL survivors, not just one specific Survivor.
    • Chain-downing, he can easily down several Survivors in one swoop with Tier lll.
    • Being at 8 Terror Radius with M&A is still undetectable until its too late, it doesn't matter if its not at 0 or not. Even base Tier lls 16 Terror Radius is still easy to stealth with.
    • Tier lll improves lunge length and vaulting, making it easier to insta-down Survivors.

Should I continue? I don't deny that Ghost Face can also be good in his own way, and I P3-50'ed him 2 days after his release and had a blast. He is in no way bad, hes really fun and can be very deadly.

Is he better than Myers though? No.

  • Liruliniel
    Liruliniel Member Posts: 3,047

So you listed a few things cool story problem is.

    • A good Ghostface wont get broken out except rarely if at all. I'm not talking about the mediocre ones either that get broken out constantly.
    • Ghostface can 99 everyone and unlike Myers even if he's looped and loses exposed he can apply it infinite times. He can even apply it faster. Also from a survivor perspective having not seen Myers all game then get instadowned is honestly the worst experience. Can you blame them?
    • Ghostface can also chain downs. He's just not as efficient at this. Yet he can knock people down faster as he snowballs not chains.
    • Monitor and Abuse is cool, but Ghostface does not need to use a perk slot to get the same effect. So he can further compliment his build with a free slot which is well worth the investment.
    • Ghostface can't compete with the fast and longer lunge, but he does have the ability to hide better then Myers ever could thanks to his character model being shorter and being able to crouch.

Need I say more? Ghostface is more like "Make your Choice" while Myers is more like "Hex: Haunted Grounds" the difference between them is minimal yet to me because Myers has less chance to proc his instadown and takes longer. He's inferior to Ghostface.

Huntress is way too low. A good huntress is SCARY. Plague is too low. Trapper is a tier too high. He definitely isn't a bad killer, but he also isn't better or equal to current Freddy. And yes, I've played against Trappers who know how to Trap.

Wraith at the bottom? Some of his addons make him a solid killer.

The fact that huntress is below doctor on this list hurts my soul a little bit. She has the potential (if played well) to be better than every m1 killer (although Freddy is certainly up there with her, and more consistent because of how bad some maps are). But huntress in C is just... No. Apart from the few worst maps (which need to be rehauled), a really good huntress will perform better than any other m1 killer. I know good huntresses aren't very common, but wow you are sleeping on her big time.

I find Trapper to be pretty strong, but I'm a solo survivor who isn't willing to spend the entire match following him around disarming his traps and doing nothing else. So once he has all the good loops trapped, he basically wins.

  • FireHazard
    FireHazard Member Posts: 7,314

    A counter to thine statement.

    • He doesn't need M&A, the point was it helps increase his stealth. Hes still pretty hard to detect at 16 Meters, and the distance between that is very small.
    • Ghostface can 99 people yes, but if they intentionally block hits on someone you're chasing than 99ing them is pointless. Even if you take the time to than put the exposed on the blocker, how would you know they're about to block the hit if its literally out of nowhere...
    • He won't get broken out if you know what to do yeah, but the fact you can be broken out of it at all is worse than Myers constant stealth.
    • The ability to turn the tide of the match by downing 3 people at once for example, its huge...
    • And yeah, his lunge is really scary, and the faster vault speeds make it worse to run from. I'll agree though that Ghostface can hide better because of his character model.

I can agree though, that depending on the player, they can be better than Myers or vice versa. Its ultimately on the players skill honestly to make that happen. If we're talking basekit vs basekit, I have to say Myers has a bit more pros than Ghostface, but not many.

Overall, they're both scary to face and that's why I love using them lmao.

Clown and Doctor... TWO tiers above Bubba? Huntress C-tier? Trapper and Ghostface A-tier? Ok then. 😂

Thing is both are good for the same thing, but for different reasons. Like I said it's like the difference between MYC and Haunted Grounds.

XD I just realized who u were in the other thread.

Legion imo has a higher learning curve then Nurse. While he doesn't have as much reward for that curve, hitting the top of the curve can easily make him as powerful as billy. Just gotta know what to do, who to stab, and when to chain or chase.

  • FireHazard
    FireHazard Member Posts: 7,314

I can agree with that, both have their own rolls, but they're both fun to play overall!

And yeah, that other thread... oh man... jeez...

Ya that thread is just out there.

Least we found a middle ground. Tbh I like Myers more.

I love stealth Killers, its fun to get a reaction out of Survivors when you grab them off generators.

Especially when its a streamer, I see their reaction on stream and its priceless. Stealth Killers overall are fun, and can even be dangerous... I'm always paranoid when i'm a Survivor facing a Myers or Ghostface, I haven't been pulled of a generator yet though!

  • Liruliniel
    Liruliniel Member Posts: 3,047

I've been pulled off a gen a couple times over the years. Usually it's the latency from the lag on consoles though since I haven't had it happen on pc.

Pig is probably my favorite stealth killer. Shes unique AF for this game. Sadly shes had some serious nerfs that no one has asked for.

These are the changes I would like to see happen to her. It's funny how much I like her when I prefer more aggressive killers like Nurse, Spirit, Huntress, and Hag. Even though Nurse dropped from my Mains long ago replaced by Spirit then later Pig was added.

  • FireHazard
    FireHazard Member Posts: 7,314

I agree with all these points, especially Rules set #2. It should be base kit honestly, since the add-on is terrible WHEN it takes up a slot. If it was base-kit the ability to not see the boxes auras would be far better for Pig.

And the rest of the points would be great for her, the roar should honestly be at 80% though, because I feel people would get hit easily if you did it crouch attacks daily. 80% is a fair time to have the sound effect happen, while still having room to hit them.

  • Liruliniel
    Liruliniel Member Posts: 3,047

The difference between 80 and 90 sounds super significant, but really isn't I just wanted it to be a bit later since you still have to attempt the mind game part with her actual dash. I agree 80 or 85 would probably be more reasonable though.

  • FireHazard
    FireHazard Member Posts: 7,314

Either way, these points would help her very much...

Tbh, ANY buff would help a lot...

  • Liruliniel
    Liruliniel Member Posts: 3,047

Honestly having her buffed a bit would make me ecstatic, but reality is I would like most weaker killers at least brought up to a more balanced and healthy state. It bums me out a lot of killers fall off around upper green to lower purple ranks.
