I’ve been thinking about this since I started playing the game. Can the Killer see the Survivors during a pre-lobby matchup or the main menu? Much like can the Survivors see the Killer on the opposite side of the campfire? Because if they can, why can’t they walk up to each other or at least communicate. Because it’s within both parties power to be able to speak.

The killers are controlled by the Entity
Some are tortured into doing her bidding or they just like killing
I think that it isn't that either side doesn't want to try talking to the other, just killers aren't allowed
