match making is so broken right now:( cant even get 1k or 2k im facing like high level skill players so un fair heck im a good killer player that can get 1k or even 3k but since this update i been facing more skilled survivors more. I also have not even got a single hook and gens are done way to fast. so i dont know if its because im still learning to play as demogorgon or its higher skill players now so i dont know.
is this going to get fixed? cause at the moment its getting unplayable for me due to high level players like ranks 1 or 2 im rank 16 i was at rank 13 now i depip to rank 16:(
im going to guess this is just due to the rank reset or is it just the bad match making? if its bad match making devs plz fix this like come on fix your servers.
dont release any more killers/survivors until you fix this problem thx
p.s i always play for fun but its getting to the point were its getting out of hand due to dcing and higher skill level players:( plz fix your game i love your game.

its just bad matchmaking unfortunately, its been acting wonky for a while now. last i read the devs were looking into it but dont know whats caused it. but that was like a week or so before the update so i dont know if theyve made any progress

Yes I completely agree the same thing happened to me.
During a match I always get gen rushed and to no surprise the game matched me up with a Level 2/ 4/5/3 and I’m rank 15.
This hardly feels fair every game has excessive non stop tee bagging/ toxic players who tell me I’m straight up trash even though I’m a lower rank than them/ and the moment I down 1 person 3 gens pop instantly.
This is the same thing over and over again the process repeats.
The devs need to do something I’m this close to equipping an ebony momento mori and toxic killer builds every game.
For survivors out there that wonder why killers are “toxic” it’s because you made us toxic through your non stop toxicity!
So if you want us to stop begging for more survivor nerfs and gen time extensions, or even extra objectives then stop it.
( ok well no one can really complain about extra objectives)

I get the same thing too:( i get one 1 down and 3 gens pop. I'm also close to using mori every match too:) and I might just do that tommorow mori time!!!!!!!! They need to fix this soon. Until they do I'm going to use mori every match:)

I'm red ranks right now, my friends close to red ranks and were getting paired with rank 20 to rank 12 constantly it's not fun. Me and my friend are toning down how we play, but reality is this is unfortunate. Least I can lure killers into new counter loops to hope they can better play against the more try hard players hopefully if they learn something.

Just for the record, it is impossible to derank to 16 because of losing matches. The only way to go lower than rank 15 is from the monthly rank reset on the 13th of each month. De-pipping from match losses will stop at rank 15.

I agree but I got back to rank 13 but quickly was forced to camp the hooks due to 1 gen is left and I knew was not going to win at that point so I got deranked back to rank 16:( trust me I did not want to camp but was forced to do it due to 1 gen is left

Good luck man you may lose now, but you learn new tricks. My best advice would look up some killer guides on YouTube and attempt to learn some advanced mind games and better way to counter loop. Put these into actions and learn against red ranks it's a rare opportunity to improve quickly.

Oh, and the monthly reset combined with players returning because of the new chapter is the reason you are having trouble with matches. It's like the perfect storm. You get players who have been inactive for a while and therefore much lower rank than when they were last playing returning to the game. Someone who was rank 1, but took 2 months off would be around rank 15. Maybe that player is a little rusty, but they would still have red rank skills. In a week or so things will be normal.

Also developers posted that matchmaking is broken and they are working on fix. On twitter. Guess the patch broke alot kore than just perks and the such

@jackkn12 Peanits commented on it earlier today. Matchmaking is bugged, they found the issue, and hope to have a hotfix out as soon as they can.

When i play solo i play only with and against red ranks, however whenever i join my friends, with 3 purples, matchmaking is getting messed up and is throwing us against 13-20 rank killers. Something is most definitely wrong with swf mm

My gf and I are both yellow ranks, get matched with brown/yellow rank killers but sometimes purple rank survivors

I like playing against red ranks in blue, they make you better at the game faster- you learn more optimal routes, they highlight your weaknesses, and increase your ability to track. I prefer tight games to easy games always, it’s more fun and actually feels like an accomplishment if you play well.
