Mettle of Man as useable fun perk?
Mettle of man is in the current state not worth using it, but the best perk to represent the chaos of the evil dead movies. I never watched the series, cause in Germany it was never available on Netflix (?). But i watched the movies and Mettle of Man represents so well this chaos.
If playing the records of the necronomicon and awake this evil presence, who kill all of Ash Friends or spelling some words wrong to awake an undead army of death 😂
It was everytime a action, Ash never really thought about in the movies, but later on have an big impact and let everyone suffer. So i dont understand why this perk should be unreliable. It should punish the survivor for using it, an real plot twist like in the movies, trapped by the evil.
So i would suggest lower the required stacks (safe unhook + protection hits) and heavily increase the punishment for using it.
Of course the aura should still be viewable for the killer afterwards, outside this 16 Meter range, but additional i would say add the broken status for the end of the trial.
This way mom wouldnt get you an extra health state, its more like it would take one. It would be a perk with heavy consequences for using it and would make it fair and fun to play. Maybe also bound it to the condition that its just usable if the survivor wasn't hooked before, but reduce the stacks to 2. So its kinda unreliable, but atleast possible to use.

So atleast it would be cool to have it as an risky fun perk. Idk if the downside is too much, but better give an extra hit some heavy consequences, than give it an unreliable nearly impossible condition (or an easy gamebreaking condition with few consequences).

In the moment yeah mom is dead. But if theres so much hate against it, why dont turn it into an fun perk, where the killer getting an big advantage if the perk was used. So there wouldnt be much complaining about it. The perk just could become a meme build, like no mither. And additional could keep the evil dead spirit.
I dont think in the current state it can come back with reduced requirements. But atleast it should be useable, even if the survivor get an big disadvantage from it.
From high effort -> high reward -> low risk
To low effort -> high reward -> much higher risk
So it would be easier useable, but let survivor regret it for using. So it wouldnt be op, more a fun perk and could keep the spirit of the evil dead franchise.

I tried it once with a vpn and it appears on netflix, but it was still locked, i readed that some vpn provider have it as premium version for netflix. But thats sounds a lot easier, just to change the streaming provider. Thank you 😊
