How the Stranger Things Chapter is Going for Me so Far (Again)
So as I work my way through the ranks, I’m noticing that it doesn’t matter whether I rank up or not. I will face noobs at any rank. Still handing out gg’s though 🤷♂️

It's kinda sad that new survivor experience gets ruined because they play against high rank killers and vice versa for new killers.

These leaderboards just look like people who haven't played in a minute. Too much teachables on the low ranks to call em new so I'm not sure

Devs just cant win with this crowd, first killers complain that the queues are too long. Now that queues are short they complain that survivors arent good ranked enough.

@jeyers Queue times happen and people need to get used to them. For example, since RoleQ came to Overwatch earlier this month, if I want to play DPS I have a wait. And sometimes the wait is longer than the actual match. It sucks, but it also comes with the genre when you have a Rank or hidden MMR involved.
But when I get into a match, the matchmaker at least does its job and the matchmaking is fairly on point.
In a PvP game, a proper matchmaking algorithm is vastly more vital than queue times. Unfortunately, game forums make me question why half these people are playing a PvP game in the first place. Many seem much more suited for PvE design expectations.

When I'm new to the game, rank 16, using a killer with no add-ons yet and only one perk unlocked, and I keep getting matched against rank 2 swf hit squads, yeah, I'm going to complain.

Well that can happen when killers want shorter queues.
Game has a limited amount of players to choose from and sometimes, if u want fast queues you will get players that are not your rank.

Weird I've been getting a lot of 4man red swf in my killer games. T-T I just got out of green ranks.

Not a fan of the new matchmaking since the update, a friend of mine and me are red ranks and we constantly get matched with level 18, 19 and 20. Not that we care about rank too much, it just that you get used to a different type of gameplay at the lower ranks and when you expect someone to play a certain way and they don't it gets frustrating!
