Illegal move or what?
I was playing some survivor and because of this lovely new match making i got thrown in with some rank 17s the game went just about how you imagine with rank 17s . I was the only one doing gens, the other three were hiding in corners and playing musical lockers.
Well, being the only one doing the objective i got in a chase after a few moments, I escape time goes by . still no gens done but im trying. Anyways long story short i end up dying, and before that accidently led the killer to another guy before that. So im spectating my team and the last two dude are doing what they were doing since the start. Crouching in corners and playing musical lockers.
I sigh and put the controller down and decide to run to the store.
I come back like 15 minutes later and i kid you not. These two survivors are STILL just jumping in and out of lockers.
So i say screw it. One was hiding in and out of the lockers in the basement and so I just went for it and sent the killer. "Basement, back left locker" and i got to say it was the funniest thing, the survivor hear the heartbeat and the killer goes directly to locker and grabs him. I cant imagine what the survivor thought.
Anyways that sounds really bad of me but these two survivors dragged the game out for like 30+minutes, so like. Was that reaaally that bad of me? The killer was showering me with praise for finally ending the game for him, because those two were basically taking the game hostage and it shouldnt be his job to have to dc because theyre literally doing nothing.

wow... ive had games that drag on for a while but jeez. thats just ridiculous. i don't really blame you cause the only other option was for the killer to DC

You know how some killers have a "people to Mori" list? Im pretty sure if this guy ever sees you again... Hes giving you a free item from a chest, and then throwing you threw a hatch.

Illegal, but I'd have done the same.

I did this exact same thing, once. I died and then spectated as the remaining two survivors hid near the hatch together, without a key, nowhere near a generator, just dragging out the game, holding it hostage. After a while of watching that, I messaged the killer and told him exactly where to find them. He thanked me, 'cause he'd had no idea where they were hiding.
So yeah, it happens. I don't regret it, I don't think I did anything wrong, and I'd do it again.
