What do killers/survivors consider OP?

I was just reading a discussion on how Spirit was balanced, and I agree. But some people were saying how she needed a nerf, others were saying that only her prayer beads add-on needed a nerf. So I was thinking, what do people find unbalanced? Iridescent head on huntress? Skeleton keys? Judith’s tombstone with a fragrant tuft of hair? Insta-Chainsaw on Billy and Bubba?

Why exactly does Prayer Beards need a nerf? There are plenty of perks to counter it.. And in a chase inside Terror Radius it does not make a difference

Because the only perk that can counter it is spine chill out of the one hundred and something. It also allows free grabs. But you can go to the “Spirit is not OP” discussion and see people argue over prayer beads.

My question is who the hell runs OoO? Unless you’re in a gen rushing swf, OoO does nothing but punishes you, and if you are against one, then the game is over by the time you reach a gen.

Ebony moris and the syringe insta heal are the only two things I feel simply doesn't belong in the game whatsoever. Way too much impact even if they're "ultra rare".

Some other stuff I think is disproportionately strong but not as clear cut include the styptic insta heal, hatch-opening keys, prayer beads and certain nurse combos (omegablink + no-downsides 4 blinks). Probably forgetting something, but I don't really feel like any perks are as troublesome as any of the things I've mentioned here.

    Syringe, ebony, keys, and such

Syringe can pretty much make the endgame broken as downing someone at an exit and they use it pretty much is a free escape

Ebony because its really easy to kill anyone with it, unless you are me and suck at this game

    Keys, free escape

To answer your title, anything that can be used to kill them.

Thats not his point, the point is that there is plenty of counter to it. You just need to think about the game when playing and find ways to counter. Thats called skill.

Survivors just want to be in the lead when 1vs1ing a killer. And thats wrong, because the power role on 1vs1 is the killer. Survivors can sometimes outskill the killer by playing together and by being smart

Im not saying that youre bad, just mentioning the topic. Just to be clear.

Ya, why do killers get a weapon? They should buff survivor, making it so they have a gun and can instantly kill the killer anytime they want

Allow all survivors 150% speed and I think it'll be a very balanced game, no?

  • ChezAndQuakers

Nope, they should also make it so they can completely freeze the killer. Oh, and also, take away all the killers perks and make it so no generators have to be done.

As a Myers main, I always thought tombstone piece was pretty stupid.

Iridescent head with infantry belt is too, but if iridescent head limited hatchets to one and trumped all other add-ons it wouldn't be so bad.

Omegablink is pretty op. I'm probably one of the worst nurses on PC but I can get a 4k with those add-ons.

Keys are pretty dumb, especially with add-ons that remove the risk. Whenever I run my item build and I find a red key with a weaved ring I don't really care if I die because I've already won at that point. Imo purple keys should only work on previously closed hatches and both keys should open for just one person.

I'd say even instaheals aren't as OP as keys because they at least go away when they're used and they don't give you an instant escape.

yeah running object against a competent spirit always turns out well lmao.

also gen tapping and hoping for a farm map to watch for corn movement arent counters to prayer beads. they'll both still result in the spirit getting a free hit because of a cheap add-on

    From what I seen :

Survivors : Nurse, Spirit, Billy, new Oblivious status effect on Freddy, Ebony Mori, NOED and Barbecue and Chilli.

Killers : SWF teams, gen rush, looping, Instant Heals and Keys.

Spirit doesn't move the grass or the corn.

If you need to have specific perks to counter an addon it is not balanced.

Gentapping isn't a realistic counter play because you won't get gens done in time.

If they removed Prayer Beads, I couldn't care less.

If they don't, I still don't care lmao... I still play the game all the same. A add-on isn't going to stop me.

Imo Ruin/NOED/Adrenaline/insta heals are the big issues.

Nerf ruin/adrenaline increase gen times or add a second objective to do before survivors can escape.

Without Adrenaline and insta heals staying injured will actually be risky.

Adrenaline/NOED, Instaheals, Moris, Keys. Would prefer if they made Cypress Moris basekit. Keys should just be removed, they give a free escape and Maps give better aura reading and tracking. Adrenaline either needs to shorten the sprint duration to the basic 3 seconds or get rid of the health state, and NOED either needs to get rid of the instadown or the extra speed. For instaheals the only really problematic one is the Anti-Hemorrhagic Syringe, the Styptic Agent is fine.

A lot is overpowered, but only little of it is totally gamebreaking. I definie gamebraking by "there is no chance, the opponent can win, unless he is using also something gamebraking or is very luck (for example Nurse on Lerys)"

Here is my list (in order from most broken to least broken)

    • Nurse with range addons
    • 4-Man SWF with Instaheals / Comodius Toolboxes / BNPs
    • Iri Head Huntress

    Thats about it.

The only thing out of EVERYTHING in the game I find OP is Michael Myers hitbox (Xbox), I have thousands of videos breaking killer's ankles in purple and red ranks, but never Myers... His hits ALWAYS land....

I just went against prayer beads spirit yesterday and I lost because I made stupid mistakes even with iron will yea when she first appears it scares you but it really doesn't need a nerf tbh

D strike is annoying if you don't have a timer or can't guess when the 60 sec is up

Ultra safe pallets and safe loops like iron works window coal tower haddonfield also super annoying

I don’t think anything is terribly op.

if one aspect of one specific killer needs a perk to make going against them fair then that’s bad game design

All killer perks should be hexes and after breaking the perks the killers power shows as a hex and the survivors can then destroy it as well...... after breaking the power the killer then becomes a 110% ms M1 killer..
