Why solo survivor gameplay is stressful.
Solo survivors are very disorganized.
I've seen so many deaths bcs survivors just didn't know neccesary information or they waste so much time for nothing. A trivial example: one hooked, one is getting chased, other two are repairing gens, they don't know that 3rd survivor is chased and thats why hooked survivor has reached 2nd stage////
Kindred prevents these situations very well BUT WHY I HAVE TO USE A WHOLE PERK MUST SOLVE THE PROBLEMS WHICH SWF SURVIVORS DON'T HAVE, I REALLY DISUNDERSTAND!
Ways how to decrease difference between swf and solo to make solo gameplay much less stressful which are already known:
- Allow survivors know that other survivor is chased by adding new effects to players icons
- Kindred should be in the Survivors' basekit
- Adjust perks and other mechanics
SOME PERKS changes ideas:
Kindred
When you downed:
- All Survivors' auras are revealed to all other Survivors
When you hooked:
- The Killer's aura is shown to all other Survivors if it within a range of 12/14/16 metres
Knock Out
######### perk which useless against swf but really hurting solo players
- Hit a Survivor to apply Oblivious and Blindness Status Effects for 60/65/70 seconds
- Get 30/40/50% more BP in Brutality

i Agree, we shouldn’t have to use a perk to know things SWF know in comms, that’s why the game can’t be balanced correctly.
if I go for a save I find out all 3 of us did so noone is on gens. If I don’t go it ends up going to second phase feels bad man.
second biggest problem IMO is near end game not knowing which gen is being worked on by teammates

That rework would make Kindred absolutely broken, especially if your under rework current Kindred would be made base kit
The killer would literally not be able to place any pressure near downed or hooked survivors, He would have to literally run to the other side of the map and be incapable of contesting unsafe hook rescues. Likewise having survivors have all their auras revealed to each other would make Bond and Empathy pointless to run and be damaging the killer every single time he completed his objective
It would completely remove any element of risk or danger inherent when rescuing a survivor. If all 4 survivors have access to this much information what's even the point of playing a stealth killer?

Disorganized is what the game is balanced for.

I don't play swf bacause it's too boring, solo is where it's at.
But yeah, sometimes solo sucks. But we need some less abvious indicators to keep a little bit of horror.
