They experienced double hits like that when testing dedicated servers. There was alot of hatchets that hit ppl multiple times or multiple ppl. I even saw a video of 1 hatchet downing an entire team (they lined up).

Could it be Nintendo Switch version is using the servers then? Because I've had that and several matches where the killer wouldn't join the lobby first. It was survivors only and no killer. And the pallets are the enemy now, you drop a pallet on a killer and you get hit even when the animation for the hit didn't even start.

Wouldn't be surprised if they're using the servers for switch. Switch doesn't seem like a strong enough console to really be hosting matches (I could be wrong, just guessing).

Switch must be using dedicated servers. If you play killer, you have one ping indicator for yourself but none for the survivors.
Also I don't think the Switch could handle to host a match.

Oh, that’s right. You see your ping bar, not the surv’s. I thought it was a new feature, not something related to the servers.
