Self-care needs a rework
It negatively impacts your team more times that it will help them or yourself.
An idea I had was to make SC only usable once per trial. My reasoning for this is that with SC currently taking a minimum of 32s (almost half a gen) you're likely only going to use it once. It should heal the same as a med-kit* and no longer grant efficiency.
*That might be a bit too fast, but I felt that since you can only use it once (like a brown kit) it would offset the speed increase.

That would actually be worse than having Bond on.
I think Self Care is fine

This would make the perk totally useless. Why use it if it can only be used once when you can get a yellow or green medkit with add ons?

Yeah, for sure not just once. It's more worth it to take a better perk and bring a medkit.

Bond is one the most underrated perk out there, it's so powerful !
2 -
It is, not denying that. Just this idea would make SC super weak. Like on MoM level

Are you joking ? That's a joke right ?

Bond is actually better than many META perks.
Better than:
Adrenaline --> Works only once if you get that far and the 5 sec + heal isn't too usefull because it's not needed so often.
DS --> It can save your ass, no deny, but it's so situational
Dead Hard --> If you use it once, the killers know it and avoid it and maybe avoid it at the first try because it's META
We're gonna live forever --> LOL, I just hate when people use it. It's the most selfish perk in the game
Bond works 24/7. Gives you confidence when you are with people, show you mates (to maybe heal each other), you can read where the killer is, when your mate is being chased. You know, what you should/can do depending what your mates are doing.
The only drawback is, that it's useless when you are alone, but that takes some time and doesn't happen every game.
I am an Off META player so it's actually my favourite perk

I'm sorry but comparing an aura reading perk to an exhaustion perk ? Like whaaaat ?
Yes bond is good but you should compare it to other aura reading perk to see it's capabilities. You don't compare apples to oranges.
Although, when you do, it's easy to notice how "Bond" isn't that great. It has a max range of 36m, do not give much information aside from close by allies, etc.
When you compare Empathy, Alert(infinite range) or Dark sense Bonds feel a bit weak. It's good when you want to lead the killer to survivors so you can live a few more minutes...

Saying Adrenaline is an exhaustion perk is not 100% right since you are not necessarily able to control when it works. I also didn't compare it to "An exhaustion perk" but with META perks in general.
Dark sense is also a pretty good perk imo but Alert, Empathy and Dark Sense are bound to certain conditions while Bond is always present.
Information about your allies: Where are they? What are they doing? Are they healthy/injured? Are they in a chase? Would they lead the killer to me or not?
Use of these information: Finding your people; Last Gen/(hex) Totem/Exit gate; Do I need to heal them/Can I get healed by them; Where not to go; Where to run/hide or even save your ally.
Empathy is a great alternative but I rather prefer mid distance but safe Aura reading skills. If you want a conditional far distance Aura reading skill, its also good.
People just judge it as a bad perk without trying it. Seeing your allies is so much underrated

I'm not saying it is bad but rather not that great.
Also, say what you want you can't compare aura reading perks to exhaustion perks has they serve 2 extremly different roles.
Aura reading: Gives you informations on the killer/survivors whereabout to allow you to stay hidden or move towards objectives safely.
Exhaustion : Allow you to run away from the killer, take a free hit or heal.

But why were you comparing Bond to.... WGLF, Dead Hard and DS?

Or...we can just nuke Selfish-Care instead.

Self-Care has definitely really fallen down the usefulness tier list for me and many others. Bond is a way better healing perk, and more recently I've gotten some fantastic results with Inner Strength as well.
The problem with Self-Care is, short of a redesign, what do you do with it that doesn't make it way too dominant? All that could really be done is to make it work faster, which would just flatly make it better than the other healing options out there.

No the joke is someone taking almost 40s to heal themselves while their team is actually being productive by doing gens and playing the objective. Self-care is there only to slow the game down for survivors who want to spend the game self-caring than actually doing anything meaningful.

The perk is useless. Why use self-care at all when medkits exist then?

By this logic, running around with Bond for 15+ seconds and getting healed for 16+ seconds is also wasting time.

It is, only time you should be going to a person with Bond to get healed is when you're in sight of them. It doesn't take 15s to run 36m, it takes 9s. It still would be quicker to use bond and go to someone if they're already in sight.

Because self care provides infinite heals

At the cost of your team losing the game because it takes so long.

All I can say is get better at stealth or juke then. It is literally never a problem for me.
Also, you could run "Botany knowledge"

loool you call we're gonna live forever selfish? i dont think you understand the meaning of selfish. It's in fact a very altruistic and therefor the contrary of selfish. it encourages you to go for -safe- unhooks (unsafe dont give stacks). If you want to talk about selfish let's look at for example self care. it literally is selfish written all over. it denies others to heal you, + you refuse to work on gens to heal YOURself.
