I love hag so much
Honestly, just an appreciation thread for Hag. 2nd best killer in the game (😜), Best mori in the game, best booty in the game, best cosmetics in game... I could go on and on......
SCREW IT I WILL!
The mentality part of hags game has an absolute ASTRONOMICAL skill cap (a little bit of an exaggeration, but you get the point). Just take a look: !
- Traps from loop to window, into another loop. Love when you exactly KNOW where a survivor is going to take a certain path. Other combos can also include unhooked savings into vaults/pallets, 2 traps loop into jungle gym (not an often occurrence, but very now and then you’ll get a loop that connects into the dreaded jungle gym -fast vault- WINDOW. It’s nice to get one closer to the window, one opposite side and directly inside.
- Shack is NEVER a problem.
- Flashlights don’t HAVE to be a problem. As long as your traps are connected and aren’t placed wrong, you will not have a problem! Flashlights are typically used at pallets and hooked survivors. (Again, typically! Some Experience survivors will take down different traps, but you can always adjust as long as you have your area controlled. Speaking of which..)
- Area of control is absolutely astounding! Definitely one of the most important ones to remember! Goal is to protect at LEAST 4 gens IF possible. But 5 is preferable, if not 6. There is usually a gen you want to let go (I.e gen in barn).
- She isn’t add on dependable!
- Certain perks are INCREDIBLE on her! Especially Save The Best For Last! STBFL is definitely recommended! I also love Monitor & Abuse on her, Sloppy/Thana or Dying light combo, Dark devotion, Pop of course and really any Hex perks!
- She can be hard to see at times! (Why M&A works well)
- Shes gorgeous!
- A lot of survivors aren’t imitated by her (allowing hag to wreck havoc).
- Speed isn’t a hinderance FFS!!! Look at Spirit and Nurse 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
- SWF isn’t any different going up against as a pose to another killer. If they are running through your traps purposely? GOOD! They are wasting time. And as you know, you have your area locked down and your perk synergy is ending careers!
Probably missing a few things, but that’s how many positives there are with Hag. I don’t see a negative at all when I play her.
You know what? Hag is better than Nurse 😜

Hag is the third best killer imo :P wish more people on console player as her. I like to play her every now and then but will stick to my SSSSSSSSS+++++++ tier bubba. :)
2 -
You spell “second” very weird :)
3 -
I find your spelling of “third” very weird. :P
3 -
I'm actually getting ready to try playing Bubba honestly.
Hag is amazing really no doubt about that, but Sally, Rin, and Anna would like a word with who's better.
1 -
I think Lisa is better than Anna, you should give bubba a try. :)
0 -
Hag is the best! At least a third of my play time has to be on her alone
1 -
Hag no doubt is better than Anna. Huntress can’t do what hag can. And I was a believer that Spirit was better for the longest time (might still be), but Hag has such amazing capabilities. Nurse is nurse :)
0 -
You got something going on with Rin don’t you?? Cheating on Bubba.. how could you!
0 -
It's funny because both these killers have a uniquely unlimited skill caps. Every day you get better with these just one Trap one Hatchet and next time you'll be able to predict better.
You can become a God killer with anyone, but the hatchets and traps have there own skill level
Probably start trying Bubba after the event.
The difference is that Anna is proactive nature vs Lisa's Reactive nature. See above reply on this comment for further details on my opinions of these killers.
Also Hag has inferior cosmetics.
0 -
I don’t even play Rin! D:
They do both have really high skill caps.
0 -
Hmmm
I will try to play Hag more often then >:3
Unfortunately we're in different regions
0 -
Ye, we will kyf one day! >:D

Spirit is still better than Hag. Spirit can deal with SWF teams with OoO. Hag can't.
And Spirit also has better add-ons.
1 -
Hehehe
I will show everyone the way of the Bing Bong as well >:3
0 -
Object of obsession! >:3
0 -
I agree with the unlimited skill cap thing just because you’re never going to actually reach any sort of cap. BUT, I don’t think Anna can do as much as Hag can.
And hag DOES NOT HAVE INFERIOR COSMETICS!! :(
1 -
Flashlights guys. Imagine being able to flashlightstun nurse while blinking omegalul
0 -
Hag is really gooood. She literately carries me to red ranks everytime.
1 -
Hag 100% can deal with both lol. And I don’t care about spirits add ons. Hag is better than Spirit in their base kits. More on par with each other with green/yellow add ons. Don’t factor in pink or purple add ons for any killer.
0 -
Of course this is all my opinion. 99% won’t agree that Hag is better than Spirit, but we can agree to disagree:)
0 -
If she can deal with OoO SWF teams, then why I heard that Michi ( known as the best Hag main alive ) DCed against SWF teams with 2 Object of Obsession ? Sorry, I don't see Hag being better than Spirit, even base kit wise.

I love threads like this, it's nice to some passion that isn't garbled up in toxicity.
Hag is indeed impressive, at least in the hands of a capable player. I don't know if my brain is big enough, personally. I tried her out in my first week of play due to everyone swearing by Ruin, but it was pretty overwhelming compared to, like, Hillbilly.
I'm using the blood hunt to level up all my neglected baby killers though, so maybe I'll spend some time with the lovely Ms Sherwood again soon.
1 -
Not sure who that is. And one game out of millions won’t dictate my opinion. Especially one that wasn’t played by me. And yeah I have lost against SWF OoO with hag... but I have with all the other killers with/without OoO too.
0 -
Wow, you really don't know Michi ? He literally has a Discord where he teaches people how to play Hag and is known as a God Tier Hag. You can't praise Hag that much without at least hearing about him.
0 -
... I can’t praise hag that much because I haven’t heard of a certain person? Entitled much? Lol I can come up with any opinion I want 😂😂 This is honestly one of the most arrogant things I’ve read on these forums..

What can I say? Welcome Brother!
Ever tried Franklin's just for fun?
Nice way do lure greedy survivors.
You forgot to mention her amazing synergy with MYC.
If you ever really want to play as a demon use MYC and Mint Rag and Shackles. There is no such thing as a save unhook. But I wouldn't recommend it as a standard build, because it's too easy and mean (and you mostly depip due to efficiency and dcing survivors).
I really love how versatile she is and you can almost run everything on her.
And she also have great and fun add-ons.
Hag is love!
CYA in the fog.

I’ve been on the Hag train even before her buff. Always thought she was amazing.
I have used Franklins, very fun :)
MYC is really good with hag. Knew I forgot something haha.
Hag is LIFE! C U in the fog :)

Hag has more downsides and loses more time than top tier killers, she is 4th with a big margin and doesn't deal very well against competent players plus Object of obs.
0 -
Sorry, I didn't mean that. I really thought you know that guy.
I still stand by my opinion Spirit > Hag tho.
0 -
And still he dces when facing obj of obsesion
1 -
Dude what you just said made me upset because I love both of them and didn't even think about which is better, now I can't sleep because I'll never be able to choose :(
1 -
I also love hag, she's super fun to play, not to mention how amazing she looks, just look at my super saiyan hag and tell me she isn't intimidating
1 -
First Killer I tried was Nurse. I almost deleted the game.
Second killer I tried was the Hag. I made it to red rank.
0 -
Hag is super fun to play and not a complete bore to go against. I always get jumpscared by Hag.
We can agree to disagree on who the second best killer is. I personally think it’s Spirit. Come on, it’s Spirit. What can’t she do? Hag isn’t far behind though.
I also think it’s funny people still think Billy is better than Hag and Spirit though.
@Liruliniel Hag is waaay better than Huntress...Huntress is too map dependent.
0 -
Can you help me then? I only have plague perks and wraith perks as well as bbq and agitation. what perk build should I go for?
0 -
Hag loves you too.
*looks at liver*
Very much so.
1 -
I love Hag. I want to get better with her. I struggle on Temple of Purgation and similar maps with her.
0 -
Try not to put traps around the gens, that's a mistake I see a lot of baby Hags do.
Instead put them around the temple entrance, some down stairs. Also put has many traps has you can on the safe side of pallets(the side survivors would be if they'd use it).
Also, remember that you can break any Loop by setting a trap midway. Most survivors will try to run away when they see you block a loop. Giving you a chance to get a hit during the chase to the next loop.
My red rank build is;
Hag
-Thrill of the hunt (to protect ruin)
-Ruin (slow gen repairs)
-Haunted ground (to bamboozle the survivors)
-Spies from the shadows (I'm a red rank immersive player ik you're around somewhere)
0 -
That's pretty much what I do. The games I struggle in involve one person that runs through the temple every time I pick someone up and sets off half my traps. And the survivors typically know which side of the map my web is on and just run away from it. Basically just need to get better at 1v1 on her because I get the first hit a lot, but survivors with map awareness or comms just run to trap deadzones after the first hit.
0 -
I use to struggle a bit in 1v1 too. My old build included "Unrelenting" so your missed attacks aren't too time consuming. You could also try to use "Play with your food" to increase your speed a little if you like obsession perks (I do not).
0 -
It’s okay. I’ll have to check him out sometime. And that’s fine. Spirit is still amazing.
0 -
I have to search him, he is really good.
0 -
My Huntress is way more effective than any of your hags.

BBQ, Agitation, Corrupt Intervention and Ruin if you know how to use it, otherwise Bloodhound if you have trouble to follow survivors in a chase.
The idea behind this build:
With Corrupt Intervention you block the farthest gens and gives you some time to setup your parameter.
Agitation helps you to bring downed survivors back to your turf.
BBQ is nice for the BP and handy to see what the other survivors are doing. So you can plan your next steps.
Ruin can help you on lower levels to slow down the game, fantastic if the totem is in your turf, but don't go out of your way to protect it.
Alternative Bloodhound can help you find slippery survivors.
Use the time you get from CI to get cosy, bring downed survivors back to your web with Agitation and either be happy about Ruin as long as it last and can use failed skillchecks to find early survivors.
Don't get too attached to gens, just protect your last 3 in your turf as good as possible. Your setup time and traps really can help you with it. Just he consistent with your trap placement.
Good luck and have fun

I'm considering on getting hag next... Should I do it? I mean, I don't plan on getting Demise, Saw, and Ash's dlc's.
0 -
There is no reason not to, Ruin is a good perk, Third Seal & Devour Hope are fun and Hag is amazing to play, if you love to prepare ahead and outsmart your opponent.
I would recommend to grab yourself MYC when it is in the shrine and just have fun.
