Spirit should be blindable while breaking pallets
Seriously, why is this a thing? Flashlights are pretty much useless against her.
EDIT: I think hag can't be blinded while breaking pallets too.

As a spirit main, I can assure you that she can be blinded at pallets. Maybe you need to learn the timing or where to aim exactly

From my experience, you can start blinding when the breaking animation is about to end, but they can avoid it easily by looking up.

It's not as clear as it is with other killers, as she does move quite a bit. But it can be done, I don't think I've tried since her release so I can't help more

She looks down during her animation, this makes it hard to blind her at Pallets (same with hag btw.).
Would not recommend to blind one of those two at Pallets.

Since Spirit can be blinded, your OP's kinda silly. Just because blinds have counterplay doesn't mean they're weak or wrong.

Other killers can't look up to avoid the blind while breaking pallets, spirit and hag share the same problem, their heads look down during the animation so you can never blind them. I don't think this is intentional.

You know what that means? You have to stand against the pallet to blind Hag/Spirit to compensate, rather than the half-step off people are used to. Simple gameplay adjustment for survivors who bother to learn a skillset, rather than an error or actual problem in the game. Spirit and Hag also have unique vulnerabilities to a flashlight: one has a husk you can burn, and the other has traps you can disable.

It's intentional. It used to be that the shorter killers. (only hag at the time) looked straight while breaking pallets. But it means that unlike other killers, they never lose LOS on a survivor when they break pallets, give them a big chase advantage. So they changed them to look down just like the tall killers.

All killers can be blinded when at a pallet.
Also for anyone telling you "they look down when breaking a pallet" may I remind them that every killer looks down and this does not affect the blind hitbox at pallets. Its the animation and not the actual hitbox moving.

You can start blinding her when the breaking animation is about to end but there's not enough time. She can look up to avoid it

You can blind her at pallets just not windows , the pallets aren't so hard you just have to stand closer and aim because standing too far back does nothing to have or spirit , maybe it's the size of the killers?

You can blind every killer even with lightborne. Aim lower on the char model with Spirit and you'll find it. If you move closer expect to be hit.

Yeah right. It could be unhealthy to blind the 2 other viable Killers after Nurse which can down you very quick. So a blind won't do really much.

Spirit player here. She can definitely be blinded while breaking a pallet. And no you can't just look up to avoid it. That only works if the guy messes up.

I get blinded when breaking a pallet as Spirit and there is nothing I can do about it. Tell me how I'm wrong.

As others have stated, Spirit can be blinded. In addition to this, nobody has brought up that her husk can be destroyed by shining a flashlight at it while she's phasing.
There might be a bug making it harder though if you genuinely can't blind Hag or Spirit, however I haven't gone up against either one of them yet as of this update.

Just played a game where I double blinded the spirit at a pallet yesterday. It can be done.

I have almost a thousand hours at the game and this is the first time that I've heard that her husk can be destroyed.
Maybe I have to aim the flashlight lower while she is breaking the pallet since people are saying she can actually be blinded. Some of friends also said that they can't blind her so I don't know why this happens.

You can't destroy the husk. More than likely what is happening is she is ending phase walk right as you hit the husk with the flashlight. I've thought this myself after seeing it, but then tested it and it didn't work.

My bad for the late response. I remember that I was able to destroy her husk with a flashlight and immediately hear the phasing before, unless anything has changed recently then this should still be possible. From my memory however, it definitely wasn't right as the Spirit was ending her phase walk.
Edit : This still works, I just tested it out - you have to aim the flashlight at the head of the husk and it will be destroyed.

Blinding at a pallet is a complete waste. A sentient killer can easily track you, save your flashlight for useful stuff. Like mindgame checks.

Blind her HAIRS not her face! And do not attempt to blind her when she's vaulting windows cause she doesn't have a vault animation.
