Survivors not leaving after hatch closes?
So im wondering why it seems that a decent enough amount of survivors wont leave after theyve powered up the gate and i (the killer) have closed the hatch?
Most of the time I can see them powering the gate and since i know i wont make it in time, i turn around and go kick pallets, spam my killer power, etc (anything I can to get a few extra points in). I stopped going all the way to the end gate area because 90% of the time its just the survivors wanting that last moment of T-bagging?
Since the EGC bug ive heard so many survivors die just because i dont go and watch them leave? Before the bug, The timer would get low and then they'd leave. Regardless of wether i went to them or not. So can anyone enlighten me on the reason for this behavior?

There isn't really anything that tells the survivor that the killer has closed hatch, obviously the icon disappears from the corner but it's really easy to miss. They probably just didn't see it.

@indieeden7 I didnt know that but i dont think thats the issue either. But what i mean is closer to this. Theres 1 survivor left and i close the hatch after they are the last living survivor. Then they go to a gate and power it. It opens. Then i literally go to the other side of the map to do my own thing. 8/10 games the last survivor wont leave. They just sit in the gate area (waiting for me to pop in??) So that they can then run out or t bag tc etc and leave.
But lately i wont show my face so they literally just end up dying because the EGC Timer is bugged. And they refuse to leave only to sit at the gate and die.

So just the usual survivors staying to tbag until the last second. Only this time they might die to endgame bug.

Just making sure there wasnt something i was missing. It's a shame that literally everytime it happens, 9/10 they dont leave and die to the bug. I wish theyd take away the visual countdown and keep the sound from the timer but that's another topic all together.
Least now ill feel extremely satisfied everytime one of them stays to wait for me, when I'm not going to show face and hear their screaming from across the map. Lmao bunch of #########
