Bloodweb Question

Level 26 on Freddy, no BBQ. Tons of Monstrous Shrine, Unrelenting, and Distressing though! I got Monstrous Shrine three levels in a row, even.

Not gonna lie, this is quite frustrating. Partly because I enjoy the aura reading but also because I need the blood points. So I have to ask: is there something I'm doing wrong?

I've avoided buying perks I don't want, reasoning that they won't stop appearing anyway due to there being multiple tiers of them, but after seeing the same perks over and over for so many levels, I'm beginning to wonder if letting the Entity remove them (so I can focus on buying cheap stuff to get through the level for less BP)is actually a bad idea.

Should I just buy the crap perks anyway to clear them off the bloodweb faster?

Thats what you are doing wrong. Every web buy the perk. Not buying it will only make it show up later. The fist 49 levels are the cheapest you're going to get. After that its 50k+ every web.

Another thing that could possible be in addition to what I said above. Do you have BBQ Teachable unlocked? You can tell by selecting Leatherface and pressing F1 on your keyboard. If BBQ has a checkmark then it's unlocked.

Less perks = bigger chances for one which you want. Mostly it just depends on your luck.

Yes, you should just level up those perks to their max tier to get rid of them completely. The Blood-Web likes to commonly give perks that're almost finished, and if those perks are almost done they'll keep appearing more often than others.

If you keep doing what you're doing you'll eventually get the perks you want, but it's better to just get rid of them so they stop appearing all together. Some perks like to also show up sometimes 2 times or even 3 times in a row to just complete them all together, albeit is rare for that to happen...

Yes, BBQ is the first thing I go for on every killer. I've never had one go all the way up to level 26 without unlocking it before, hence my frustration. I unlocked it in the Shrine when it appeared a couple months back.

I see. Well, it's a little annoying to learn that my efforts to save BP might actually cost me more in the long run. Every time I think I have this system figured out, the Entity likes to give me a good hard smack.

Thanks for the answers folks, I'll stop skipping perks.

I've gone full lvl 1-50 without seeing it. Pure luck driven.

If you see a level 3 perk and a lower level perk, it can be helpful to go for the level 3 perk because that means there is one less perk that can appear on the next level.
