Please change where you LOOK when you smash pallets, and jump windows (2nd floor)
I hate the fixed view.
The number 1 reason i often lose survivors, at least when its a stage with tall grass where those scratchmarks are really non-existent. its when you do things, like break pallets, and your face is just fixed on the Pallet.
i mean why on gods green earth, would the killer and MY view, be FIXED on that pallet while i break it? i dont have a god damn chance to see where the survivors are running. why cant it just look a bit more upwards? on outdoor stages the scratch marks are hard to see, so i waste precious time running in small circles trying to decipher which way the survivor went, simply because i couldnt see that with my own eyes.
if Fixed view is to remain a thing, as it probably is for the killer, can it at least be more upwards when i break pallets so i at least have a chance to see where the survivors runs?
the same thing applies when you jump out of windows that are on the second floor. sure it makes sense that you look straight ahead going out on a window on the ground level, but when its the second floor and i have to jump down from something, i cant see where the survivors are going because apparently, killers jump out of windows not looking down, but looking straight ahead in to the trees.
WHY would i want to look at a bunch of ######### trees? i DONT.
please look down when going out on the second floor, and please look more upwards when breaking pallets. maybe i would spend just a tiny bit less time chasing people with this, because i would spend less time trying to figure out where the hell they even went.
Thank you.

Nah I think devs intentionally tried to make killers lose their preys by fixed view but they failed to do so.
I don't think that devs wanted us to loop killers around pallets. I think that when we use pallets, it supposedly takes killer's time to break it and open a window for survivor to escape. By fixed view you won't be able to see where the survivor goes so it gives survivor a chance to lose killer.
When I started to play killer for the first time, I had the same problem. I would often lose survivors even in the middle of the chase but as I get better, it become an easy task.

The whole point of looking down while breaking pallets and vaulting is to allow the survivor to break line of sight, obviously.
If you consistently lose your targets, I suggest you to try tracking perks until you get used to it, because it's actually sorta hard to lose a survivor once you're used to chases, as killer. That line of sight breaking IS necessary tho, for the sake of mindgames and being able to stealth the killer to some extent, and lose him.

I can understand the fixed view since it gives survivors the opportunity to break line of sight and lose the killer. It's an intended mechanic so survivors can have a window to get away and I don't think it needs a change.

well i most certainly think it should on certain occations.

It is an intentional mechanic, frustrating at times, but meant to be there. Running perks that help tracking could benefit you if you have issues tracking, I know I have that problem more often then I'd like to admit.
