Explanation Please!
How is it that leatherface can chainsaw 3 survivors in one swing when realistically it's impossible because of the flesh and bone and size of a person and the hillbilly chainsaw stops on downing one survivor?

Because the Entity says so 😉

I summon @GrootDude! To answer your question.

Because videogames are not bound to realism.
12 -
Same way you can Deliverance, DS, Sprint Burst away and then Adrenaline rush after that.
Short answer: gaming logic
5 -
Basically what Boss said.
7 -
Boss already said what I was gonna say :(
6 -
i woulda say because bubba is holding the trigger sawing the air around him and Billy is actually hitting them with the chainsaw and letting go of the trigger to not saw his own legs off
0 -
Really good chainsaw.
2 -
Because Billy and Bubba are suppose to be polar opposites .
Billy= speed,violence, and momentum
Bubba= control, multiple fatalities , AOE
1 -
Ummm...ok boss so,what would you to virtue reality games which is based close to realism?
Dumb give me a dumb answer give me a logical one if you can't remain silent

I’ll answer this with another question, why do survivors drop pallets so quickly? They ain’t light.
0 -
The saw draws power from the face and bubba has 2
And have you seen bubba? He swings that saw so madly, he don't even know where he is going. Billy is more cool, calm, collected, He's focused, straight shooter. It's all in how you wield it. *nods*

I don't understand what you said in your first sentence.

Grootdude the pallet is already leaning against an object therefore it doesn't require much strength to just pull it down and with speed yet there is a counter for it which is spirit fury slam a pallet on a killer with this perk instant splinter city
0 -
You still wouldn’t drop it very easily, you don’t need a perk to not group up, if more that one survivor is downed by bubbas saw (at the same time) then they were bunched together and messed up majorly.

I'm sorry but if someone started to pull a slanted pallet onto me while I was chasing them I would just stick my arm/hand out and push it aside.
-You seem caught up with this "realism" thing so let me ask you how many knife stabs you could take while running full speed?
-How many chainsaw attacks and meat hooks could you take before you could no longer run?
-Do you know how to fix a generator with nothing but your bare hands?
This game isn't realistic so don't try to base it off something it clearly doesn't follow.

As @MegaWaffle stated above.
The game is set in a fictional realm where survivors are bludgeoned, stabbed, chainsawed, trapped, hooked and mori'd and then when sacrificed or killed sent back to wait at a campfire so they can do it all over again.
I think being able to chainsaw multiple people is pretty low on the unbelievable or realism factor in this game. It's a game just enjoy it for what it is.

Because yes

As for pallets. Generally there are very few that i have seen that would be able to both be able to stun a killer and then get broken in 2 kicks.
Most pallets when standing in end come roughly waist high. So at most the killers would hit there knees when dropped.
Most pallets are also made using cheap lightweight wood as they arent designed to do more than keep a load with an equally distributed load off the floor and also to allow fork lifts or pallet jacks a way to easily move the load.
A killer especially one in bloodlust really should be able to walk through most falling pallets. Especially since its leaning against the wall and falls maybe 45 degrees, barely enough movement to create enough speed and force to be anything more than annoying.
There are heavily built pallets that way a godawful amount. These pallets could do some damage, however even an angry person wouldnt be able to break one in 2 stomps.
That being said, it's a game purposely set in a world made up by some alien entity. (Alien strange not alien Martian although who knows for sure)
It creates it's own physics. Also how do we know that the bodies of the survivors are actually there human bodies? Could the entity have the real bodies in stasis somewhere, letting the minds of survivors go through thinking it's all real? It's not like the entity needs blood and flesh, just the emotions of it. So if the bodies aren't real then the chainsaw wouldn't react the same way?
Im done, but this could keep going on and on

That is wrong
Virtual reality games make you feel like you are in the game yourself

The Fog isn't reality and the Entity does as she pleases
1 -
I have another one. Why do Survivors not break their legs after falling 2 floors.
1 -
Time to nerf the Cannibal!

Are you asking me about virtual reality games?
Because they're completely fine by me.
I don't like them, but to each their own.
Just because videogames can go beyond reality doesn't mean they always should.
Also, it's never really a choice of: You either keep realism or you abandon it.
Dead by Daylight still has human models, grass, trees, gravity, metal, dirt, whatever, it's all realistic.
But then you have them leaking pools of blood infinitely, dying but not staying dead, most Killer Powers are not realistic, etc. etc.

Bubba throws his weight into each swing.

Billy’s chainsaw sprint physics (especially if you’ve seen him fly off a rock) makes less sense to me than bubba being able to wildly swing a chainsaw and knock down multiple people. It’s called video game logic, lol.

How is it that someone can withstand getting chainsaw but yet doesn't get saw in half?
0 -
Just to play Devils advocate here but:
and this is an OLD video, people have jumped from higher and while doing multiple flips.
1 -
Yeah, nice try. Show me a video where the person doesn't have Balanced Landing equipped.

Here!

I GUESS that counts...

It was probably more painful watching that.
