Hex totem placement

Even though totems have been getting better in more, creative and sneaky spots, it’s still not enough imo. I suggest that a killer should know which hex totem is their specific perk(s) (e.g. if a killer has Ruin and Devour Hope, the killer can differentiate between the two totems and knows which is which). So then that way a killer can prioritize a proper strategy and know which of their hex perk(s) are more expendable and choose which ones to protect.

And also, I think a killer should be able to see all totems at the start of the match. Say they have only Hex: Ruin with them, but Ruin isn’t activated until the killer approaches one of the five totems on the map and ignites the totem into a hex. After this, they can no longer see any totems besides their hex.

no. if a killer has ruin, HG, DH and ToTH - the only chance survivors have is to go for multiple at the same time. If a killer can tell which is which then survivors are SOOL...

I don't see any differences in totem placement. They all spawn in the same places I've been breaking them in for the past year.

I've already learned Hawkins totem placement. So the only map I really have trouble finding totems on is Lery's
