i hardly ever see new killer or new map and long loading times
on average it takes at least 10-15 minutes to search for a game, as a survivor or killer. i feel this has happened since stranger things. also after a lot of waiting then more than likely, it load people with oppisite skill ranks to me. is this what it's like for everybody else? or is there anything i can do to search for a game quicker?

It is what it's like for everyone, currently there is no fix. (especially if a new chapter comes out) If a new chapter comes out more people are inclined to play killer more that survivor or vise versa. It's a gamble tbh.

thanks for your reply, if more people are inclined to play the new ones, then why do we have less chance in seeing them?

Some people hate the new map.

Lonnnnng wait times makes it ensure to only put you in matches with low rank players. (Meaning No DLC bought lol)

This. I really dislike all the narrow corridors and random noise.

meaning why do you and others hate it!

Oh, sorry for the misunderstanding. I personally don't hate it, I was just clarifying what Rydog meant.
To me the new map was very confusing at first. Then I went into a custom game and took the time to make a sketch of the map. That made it much easier to find my way around. I still find it hard to tell where exactly I am just from looking at my surroundings, however. There are some landmarks but the long corridors with the rooms in the middle are mostly uniform or randomly generated. What's always in the same place seem to be the doors, the staircases and the room with the rift. But they are all at the edges of the map and you could get lost in the middle. I suppose it will get better as we get used to the map.
And of course, depending on which killer you're using the map can be very hard to play on. Getting survivors off the generator in the rift room is tricky unless you're Freddy or Hag, for example. They can see you coming a mile away and just jump down through the glass ceiling.

New map is unbalanced anyway. It just looks good, but gameplay wise it's trash.

Forgot to mention that there are pallets at almost every corner (or that's what it feels like) and a ton of jumping locations for Balanced Landing. From my experience it is a rather noisy map too so it will take a while to learn to filter the ambient noises outs.
