What are your thoughts on Clown?
Clown was originally released during the 2.0.0 update as the killer that started the year 2 roadmap yet I never see any clown players, any discussions about clown nor do I see any real potential in their power.
In my opinion, I believe that clown is in strong needs of changes because of the following reasons ;
- His power feels almost minuscule considering that the clown slows himself down whenever he throws a bottle and that survivors can just camp a pallet.
- For a power that doesn't feel very strong, it also heavily hinders your ability to apply pressure by dramatically decreasing movement speed for what seems to be a 4-5 second reload.
- Clown is now completely outclassed by Freddy, who not only doesn't slow himself down but also has a longer duration, can constantly spam down more and more snares without penalty, doesn't need to reload, has mobility through gen teleports and slowdown potential if people want to wake themselves up, effectively leaving clown in the dust.
- Clown feels horrible to go against with an unfun power that makes it difficult to see, while the slowdown itself is not impactful enough from the killer side.
The problem is that clown is already an extremely unfun killer to go against and while just buffing him can make his power more worthwhile, it makes an already unfun killer a more common killer to run into during your daily trials, reworking him will upset the few players who genuinely enjoy the power for what it is and keeping him the same keeps clown susceptible to what is in my opinion, a major set of flaws.
Keep in mind that this thread is almost entirely based on opinion. Considering the fact that I almost never see any discussions about clown on here, what are your personal thoughts about this killer and do you believe they deserve any changes?

Clown is decent if you play him properly (not the easiest killer to play imo).
But that's part of why I don't like him so much (even though I think his character design is great).
Unlike other killers, he's a bit trickier to play but only gets mediocre results. Just not worth it imo.
Also, a lot of people find him pretty boring to play. And I can understand why they think that.

He's really really in a bad spot atm. As bad as Legion, and I'm a Legion main. Like.... they fcked him with the vault speed rework. Then add on that his power cripples him as much as mine does, but at least I get the chance to run around.... poor Clown.

He is an interesting idea but his bottles are too lackluster. I have so many survivors just ignore the cloud if they got him in a good loop.

I like him i think he's a really cool killer.
I'm also on the buff cown train though.

He is the worst killer in the game and he is need of buffs or even are rework. Most Clown mains consider him trash already, so I don't think a rework would mind them.
