Do you give Hatch?
Comments
-
Always, unless they were BM
If they were a good survivor (good chase, i see them on gens, they help teammates etc.) I'll usually let them go. If they were useless (immersed, hookfarming, etc) there's no way in heck I'd give them the hatch, because I know how much it sucks to have one of these people as teammates.

Only if someone crashed or something unfair happend
My rule is that if 2 people DC, I always give hatch, no matter what.
3 -
Only if someone crashed or something unfair happend
Only chose this option because I try to give last man hatch because I don't wanna pip as fast. I tend to keep myself out of the higher ranks as much as possible.

With how easy it is to escape via the hatch, I usually don't give a free escape to anyone unless some DBD BS happens or someone get sandbagged infront of me.
I also consider it when the matchmaking bugs out and I face baby survivors who have no idea what's even happening.

I give hatch. If they played well, if it's convenient etc. I don't usually consider BM, but if they did, maybe being nice to them will help them loosen up and be nicer too. Never know :)
Also, any game issues or bugs and stuff, yeah I definitely like to take it "easier" sometimes if it seems really bad, I just consider it like a meme game or something and mess around. I aim for a good gaming experience for everyone involved, and I'm not going to take advantage of stuff.
I don't care about 4k's. :)

I will also give hatch to the one player who was playing really good if the rest of their team was potatoes.
Humble brag incoming, but I know what’s it’s like to have to carry your team on your back so I like to at least reward those players.

I never give hatch
I don't see why I should. If you want to escape, go work for it.

Idk, what if 1 or more people crash during the game?

I never give hatch
No reason to.

Only if someone crashed or something unfair happend
depends.
if you were toxic, i wont give you hatch, no matter what happened.
if it was a normal game, i wont give you hatch neigther.
i will however allow you to go, if i feel like something unfair happened during the match, e.g. you being rank 20 and stuck with me as your killer or someone crashing.
some time ago i would also let players go when someone DCed on purpose, though thanks to the increase in DCs at that time, i stopped doing that.

I never give hatch
Survivors never give me a free pass when I am having a bad game caused by things out of my control.
1 -
Only if someone crashed or something unfair happend
The game can be really unfair with things like bugs and dcs, and it ruins the match. So I try and make at least one person happy

Only if someone crashed or something unfair happend
I always give hatch if 2 people were DCing before or if I notice that a survivor plays like he's just started playing the game and somehow came in a lobby with me (or just have a bad day/match) and is the last one alive

Had someone carry me to a hatch, then close it one me as I crawled to it.
This is why I have trust issues.

Always! Even if they were BM
What things that are out of your control and survivor might notice could that possible be?

I ised to give away hatch escapes oftenly. But now that the hatch spawns regardless of generators left, not anymore.

I never give hatch
Me getting cucked by autoaim, (with dedicated servers) me getting cucked by latency, me getting cucked by hitboxes, and so on and so forth.

Only if someone crashed or something unfair happend
Yep.
0 -
Always! Even if they were BM
No offense but that all reads like a big excuse. Latency and Hitboxes are actually more a problem for survivor and not for the killer... and autoaim? How should a survivor know that you have trouble with that?
Anyway, thanks for your honest answer.

I never give hatch
A survivor who plays killer from time to time will notice when the killer gets cucked. Only true survivor-mains would not recognise this. I myself notice it when the killer is swinging in my direction and then hits some random bush or rock out of the blue.

Always! Even if they were BM
Thats true, and it happens to me also, but getting screwed by autoaim one or two times does not really effect the game as much as 2 people crashing.

Oh, sweet summer child.

Survivors shouldnt expect courtesies theyre not willing to give themselves.

Only if someone crashed or something unfair happend
No one said you should. It was a poll asking if you do.

The answer is "Sometimes." It's usually just a spur-of-the-moment decision, depends on my mood and how the match went. There are no set rules for when I do or don't. If they BM'd or used an instaheal, I definitely won't, but just because they didn't do those things doesn't mean I definitely will give them the hatch, either. If there are only two survivors left and one is trying to do gens and I find the other camping the hatch, the hatch-camper definitely dies; I'll usually give the hatch to the other one in those situations.
If someone seems to be having a really hard time of it, I'm more likely to give them the hatch. I recently had a Meg who I kept running into constantly during the match, I don't know if she was just super unlucky that game or what, she kept blowing up gens. I gave her the hatch.

Not in the southern hemisphere ;)

Only if someone crashed or something unfair happend
I'm missing the option "occassionaly without a fix rule, when I feel like"
Sometimes I get bullied by 3 survivors and give the hatch to the one that played normal (If I manage a 3k in this game) sometimes I give hatch when someone is left that seems to be unexperienced.
It really depends, but in all cases it needs a reason to do so. Because I never saw a survivor that gave a free kill because he is generous (excluding in farming matches)
btw what means BM?

BM stands for bad manners, basically, being a ass.

Always! Even if they were BM
Everyone deserves an act of kindness :)

I gotta say, for me, it's a whole manner of things. I usually give hatch to people who play "fair", people who got screwed over by either the game or other players and yes, character bias also plays a factor for me personally. If you're playing Feng there's a 95% chance I'm letting you take the hatch.

I used to give hatch to everyone but after one particular 4 man SWF team insulted me despite giving hatch to the last guy i no longer give hatch to anyone

All those poor demos whose shred should’ve hit me...

I very rarely give hatch

Only if someone crashed or something unfair happend
There should be an Option that says "If I feel like it" , but Im just going to choose this since it's a sometimes option

I never give hatch
Survivors already have enough clutch perk as it is. No need for a terrible free escape mechanic.

Only if someone crashed or something unfair happend
I usually give hatch if I'm in a chill mood and I don't feel like hooking them. But besides that I never give hatch and I'm rarely in a chill mood.

Only if someone crashed or something unfair happend
I accidentally camp or rekt them then yes
