Why Are Mori's Even A Thing?

Is it particularly fun having the odd chance of having someone Mori you when otherwise you've been playing well? Much of this game is RNG I understand, but the RNG mainly plays into factors of diversifying maps, diversifying perks, so that every game is different.

In the Mori's case, the diversity is present: you are just killed. That's it.

Please note, im a Killer main, and it's not even fun for me.

because this game is built around mechanics designed to suddenly screw your opponent over. I'm not sure why this is a surprise to anybody.

Because it's fun to kill people yourself instead of just hooking them again.

    That's why they exist.

Now if you wanna say they need a healthy update, that's a very different question

A mori is a killers way of giving toxic survivors middle fingers.

A key, flashlight, insta heal, or toolbox is a way survivors give killers middle fingers.

    lol

DBD is based around diversity. Random maps, random killers, random perks and that same applies to addons and offerings. As much as DBD tries it's not really competetive game which means that both sides can use incredibly strong stuff without the other side having a say in the matter. In mories case the diversity is danger. If you get mori in your game you literally can't play the same like in game without it. You have to be far more strategic and stealthy.

You can dislike it but they makes game far more interesting/tense. Don't take losses so personally and just do your best. Keys are equally strong as mories are if not more, people just don't talk as much about them. Mories were already significantly nerfed and good survivors still have the upper hand in matter of game balance overall. Imao mories shouldn't be changed until further changes to killers, maps and survivor objective are made.

I absolutely hate mori's because 9 times out of ten I get insta moried and it's a complete waste of my time

Its basically a killers version of a toolbox. A way to do the objective a lot faster.

Because they're "rare", like other things such as keys and instaheals.

At this point I almost feel like there should be a hard cap on how many ultra rares (and maybe other rarities) you can have collected at once. Make them an actually limited resource along with stuff like instaheals and hatch-opening keys and see what happens.

Why? Here's why moris are awesome:

    1. They are a cool animation.
    2. They make the game in the killer's favor for once.
    3. It's one of the most consistent counters to toxic SWFs.

They actively hinder ranking up, BP gain, and length of the match. All things killer's have to take into account.

Survivors have so many second chance perks/items (DS/ BT/ Adrenaline/ Instaheals/ Keys/ the list can go on...), and killers have to work hard for their victories... especially in Red ranks.

They are basically the "I'll have fun this game offering". Just let them have their round, since for every round with a red mori, there's a game where they get smashed by a toxic team. You can't have the good without the bad.

@StupidPallets @Buily09 ok dude figure it out, keys arent the same as moris so stop comparing them. they are all part of the game and moris are fun to use against swf, especially toxic players idc if youre a killer main its all fine figure it out

Dude, I play killer. And taking losses seriously? It's a video game. I'm not exceptionally worried about my feelings being hurt.

And keys aren't really "fun" either. I dont get butthurt about them, but it's like a get out of jail free card you rolled when you que'd up with someone who has it or gets it in a chest.

Keys are, "Okay, that just happened ... " Rather anti-climatic.

I know what they do. I don't think keys should be a thing either. "Figure it out" is saying, "Find a way to agree with me." No. I have a brain capable of critical thinking.
