Endgame Chat ps4
I’ve always wanted to have a endgame chat for ps4, I know it could get toxic but I love talking about the game we just played to other players. Any thoughts.

Minus the insults and trash-talking sure. Otherwise it'd just make me not want to stick around for it. I think it'd be great for when I want to compliment a Killer or Survivor for doing good job.

I'm not against it at all. I'm all for console having the same features as PC and i think that's the only one we don't have.

From my experiences, the ppl who stick around to have a legitimate chat with you are far outnumbered by the ppl who just wanna cuss you out for winning. No matter what you ACTUALLY did ingame, you tunneled and camped EVERYONE at the same time, lol.
Feel like I should make a special folder for these moments. During the 3 year aniversary event, I had THIS game where almost everyone used event cake offerings. Decided as soon as I saw the offerings that Id let everyone escape, and would just slug em when they got to deathhook. Eventually it got to the point that I was still beating them so badly... some of them hit stage 2 on first hook and some of them were on the verge of bleeding out on the ground so I had to pick them up myself and let them go. I kinda lost track of who I still needed to hook, and this was the result.

Our brains are more highly attuned to negativity than positivity. Yeah, that one guy was really unnecessarily rude. But everyone else wasn’t. I see a lot of ggs in end game chats. A LOT.

I'm not saying you wont have ANYONE being nice. Like I said, I like to stick around and chat abit. Sometimes if I see its a streamer, Ill join their stream to chat. I see ALOT of hate messages though, along with the normal complaints of tunneling and such. Just because you got found next after I hooked your teammate across the map from you... doesnt mean I tunneled you. Just means your teammates are better at hiding, lol
I HAVE though added plenty of ppl to my FL that were pretty chill at the endgame screen.

As a prior pc player, please dont bring the chat to console. Yes you have your "gg"s then you have the nice tipsters who want to teach or be constructive in their critics. But thats overshadowed by the people who simoly want to bm. 8/10 games on pc when I was playing DBD on there was just bad. All bad. Even to the point where even in trying to exit post game screen to avoid even reading anything youd catch the bm in passing.
Just do what people on consoles do. Send a message to the player you wish to say something to. As an anxious introvert i have messages blocked and probably would not play this game on console either if a post chat in game was added. Thats just my personal view and expirience with it.
Itd completely support it if they also added a setting ingame to opt out of post game chat. Otherwise please no.
