Is there a way on these forums to change my nickname?

No, there is no way for you to change your name by yourself. You can try filing a support ticket OR you can @ a dev or mod and ask them within this question yourself.

Here, i'll even @Peanits @MandyTalk and @Rizzo90 to see if they're not busy and can assist you with that. Otherwise, there's no way to change your name and I don't recommend making another account as [having alts on the forums is forbidden.]
So you can either wait for a response from them here, or file a support ticket and wait for the support team to respond with an answer.
