Future chapter updates should focus on survivor items

After 3 years of this game, survivor game play hasn't changed much at all. Every chapter we get 1-2 survivors with a few new perks. 90% of these new perks are underwhelming and hardly ever get used except for meme builds. A new update has always pretty much been just a new skin for survivors. A majority of survivors just use the same meta perks year after year... Decisive strike, Adrenaline, Borrowed Time, Exhaustion perk, etc...

Why not shift the future updates to adding survivor add ons and items? The unique wedding ring was a great start. Not overly powerful but it is enough to shift your play style a bit.

Add ons should be added that change the effect of the item your carrying. An example could be an addon that lets a survivor set up a limited use healing station at the expense of being able to heal yourself, or a toolbox addon that has you collecting parts around the map to bring back to a generator at the cost of slowing repair speed. Or a key addon that lets you open up a secret room with 3 chests.

Just a few ideas off the top of my head. Right now our items just have simple functions which have gotten boring after all these years. New items and addons should be designed in the same that Michael Myers addons are designed, they change the playstyle of the player at the cost of something else.
