[Console] Gamertag Obfuscation
In my experience, hate messaging on the PS4 is now so common it's becoming ridiculous.
Yesterday I ducked out of a lobby (playing as killer) to answer my phone and got three messages from a group accusing me of looking for an easy game. Considering that you can't see the killer's name until the end normally, that means they're going to the quick menu and immediately taking note of my gamertag. If I limit my privacy settings to get messages from friends only, I'll start getting random party invites and friend requests from these people.
It sucks having to lock down my privacy settings just to play this game. My friends and I are part of several group chats on the PSN and we're always inviting in new people...if my privacy settings are on max I can't see anything they post or get invites from them. Right now if I take down a tough group playing killer, I feel as if I've got to quickly log into the PSN app on my phone to change my privacy settings before the salty messages start arriving.
I realize that messaging & privacy matters are Sony's domain, but I think it'd be handy to have a checkbox in the DBD lobby screen that allowed you to display a generic tag like GAMER0000 in the lobby.
