Insta heals were broken bs crutches survivors used for free escapes, even if they messed up. Thank god they are nerfed because they are incredibly unfun too fight as killer.

It really seems like as soon as one side receives some kind of nerfs, the extreme mains of that one side go absolutely crazy.

Tombstone has enough downsides to justify it's upside.
Moris and Prayers Beads totally should be nerfed/reworked
Instadown powers are balanced with them being instant downs in mind. This is why it only becomes a problem when something not designed to be an instant down becomes one (iri head, red finger ect).
Powers that preform instant downs come with either a long setup time, risk or both and other Killers in the same tier which lack an instant down instead have numerous other benefits which the instant down Killers lack. And Killer instant down perks are all situational in one way or another making them equivalent to the Survivor instant heal perks like BT, Adrenaline or now Second Wind. All 3 of which are fine in their current state.

First off Noed requires you to be end game, have at least 1 totem left to even just activate and can be cleanse. Especially easily if you use the perk to track totems and traps.
Second, all you had to do to pull off your instaheal was a tap on your teammates. That's ######### ridiculously OP ffs you could deny Noed even when it was active!
Finally, I'm not a Noed user or a fan but comparing it to instaheal is just completly wrong. Ffs if 4 survivors equipped it you had the power to heal through 12 life states!

Right, because it was fair to down a survivor only to have them back up to full health instantly and now it's time to chase again.

Typical hypocrisy from DbD. I don't argue that IHs were not powerful, but to claim those to be unbalanced and to leave EMs in the game is quite hypocritical. Sorry, but neither take much of any skill to use, and both create near game-breaking issues. Nerf one, you need to nerf the other.

You could literally heal through 12 health state with just 4 taps...that's why it was removed.

I think the Agent is fine I guess, but the syringe shouldn’t be touched. I need my insta heal, sometimes you don’t have 8 seconds in a chase and I don’t use self-care I really don’t like that perk it’s such a waste of a perk slot, I’m always in a chased even after being caught I’m always getting tunneled off hook so I’m never really on generators I need my insta heal I’m always injured throughout the entire match.

Yes and no.
Instant heals and Ebonys don't have a special interaction so changing one doesn't itself justify changing the other.
That being said both are bad for the game.

Insta heals shouldn't have been touched until moris were , but that's all good as long as it's a survivor nerf right? We have all these bullshit insta downs and moris but one thing that can help survivors in that situation need to be taken away ya know because 4ks all day or the killers cry their ######### eyeballs out

Both should be done together, for balance. There is no indication that they are doing anything with EM. Therefore, my point stands.
Just to be clear, I don't care about IH nerf, but don't call it an action to bring balance when you have EM, which is even more imbalanced, still in game. Yes, IH sucks, but does not end the game for the killer. EM does.

I would have been okay with Moris being nerfed first. Doesn't matter to me which one gets gutted first as long as they both get nerfed in the end.
Also, most insta-downs are fine.

They're fine with the instaheals being in game but when you leave the moris the way they are it BS, i mean survivors only had the instas, a pallet, or flashlight as a way to save a downed teammate and now it's just flashlight and pallet,... How bland and boring, I was hoping for new balanced items to make the game more interesting while offering a way to save but it's clear the direction the devs are going and wait times will be a thing again mark my words

I am a proud Dweet who can say I never used insta heals. I never use med kits in general.
So this doesn't affect my pizza delivery.

They can only do so much in one update. Im sure they will touch mori soon.
Break the totems and you dont have to worry about it. In game solution that rewards with points AND survival.
I didnt hear anything about insta heal or med kit changes. Or detective hunch change or plunderers change. Just because they havent announced it doesn't mean it isnt happening

Styptic Agent now grants a player protection from one hit for 15 seconds.
Anti-Hemorrhagic Syringe now takes 8 seconds to heal someone, and the heal fails if the Survivor being healed either changes health states or is picked up.
The only insta-down add-on that needs to be changed is Iri head IMO.

@NMCKE Honestly this is nothing compared to the killer outcry on Nurse changes.
Survivors will adapt they always do. I've already seen threads hooraying over this change and it's sad to see that the community is so split but at the same time its very obvious some people on these forums have double standards.
I never thought styptic agents were that bad tbh. Sometimes using those was the only way to stop a killer from tunneling someone or even get someone off the hook who is being camped when BT was not in play.

I feel like I need to preface these types of posts with "Not a killer main or a survivor main, I play and enjoy both," lest someone accuse me of being some partisan operative of the forum's made-up DBD political tribes.
Insta-heals needed a big nerf. Survivors have all kinds of second chances and power over the killer to dictate the game's pace. They control the clock. Insta-heals are a huge "cheat" that completely overturn killer progress and accomplishments. As I have elaborated on elsewhere, I believe that only the killer should be able to "cheat" the base game mechanics in such a profound way, as killers do not enjoy survivors' superpower of being four places at once.
People who are comparing survivor insta-heals to killer insta-downs as though this is some 1:1 thing are missing the forest for the trees. Survivors have SO MANY tools, not to mention staggering numerical superiority (4x as many players, perks, items, and add-ons). You're complaining about a major needed nerf to the survivor, which is already the power role.
Also, it's not like they destroyed med-kits. They're going to heal people way faster now (just not instantly). Think of how quick We'll Make It is gonna be now -- heck, this might be next in line for a nerf, if it heals as fast as I think it might.

@TAG I'm just comparing by the skill that is required to use it, since Peanits stated there is no skill in using a Syringe or Styptic. Not really focused on the Clown's abilities all together.

Pinky Finger requires you to directly hit someone with a bottle, which does require aim. Insta-heals required you to push a button.

@TAG And like I explained... you can get right up the survivors' behind and not have to aim. Same with Iri head.

Iri head is fine by itself. The reason it needs to be changed is because it is problematic with Infantry Belt.
Again, then at that point, you are just turning Clown into Leatherface. With Iri, it is different because you can actually down someone at a moderate distance.

Lol yes, the MoM “buff” is very...strange to say the least. You are already a detriment to your team even trying to get it to activate once. The time (getting the protection hits PLUS all the healing in between) and effort not worth the reward. I can’t imagine someone getting it to activate twice! This person would likely never even touch a gen.

You're describing something that takes a least a minimum of gameplay proficiency. Some survivors make it very difficult to get right up behind them, so it's not like you can do this 100% effortlessly. Stop with the "skill" gatekeeping.
Also, a killer should have access to these kinds of domineering tactics. They're supposed to be powerful threats, at the very least.

@TAG Most Huntresses I've gone against that had Iri head had to get up close to get the hit because they weren't confident and they weren't going to waste that hatchet to turn themselves into an M1 killer.
So at the end of the day, there is really 0 skill involved when you use these two add ons.

@Rydog Sure because every case is the same and every survivor is always in a position where they could easily make it "difficult" for a killer to get right up behind them.
Killers ignore pallets to keep their bloodlust, and they have an insta down add on on top of that... how does that take any skill?
