Insta Heals require a thought to use now why is everyone upset about its rework?
Why are so many ppl upset about the change, it needs to be reworked and was to strong. Now only keys and moris left to go

Cause they don't want to try or think.

They want to be toxic. But even as a survivor main, i feel bad whenever i used an insta heal. But i think they need to tweak septic agent a bit in terms of whether or not it should deplete the medkit.
Both add-ons are still quite powerful even after the nerf, but they just require people to be smarter than a potato to use.

Why was so many people upset with Nurse?
People hate change in this game.

I dunno why people are complaining about these changes. These changes aren't bad, they're still good addons to take. This has to be one of the better patches released.

I actually like the direction the devs are going, making med kits do more than just heal. Maybe in the future we'll get an addon which removes exhaustion or gets rid of broken (not on No Mither tho)

I don’t know I would argue that it didn’t require “skill” to use them before considering many people would use it in specific situations.
They weren’t that OP for an ultra rare item.

I shall now proceed to run syptic agent and mettle of man together.
Fear my immortality muahaahaha

styptic is unique and I hope they decide to do more medkit add ons like that

Wait if insta heals need 6-8 seconds to give u1 health state if your downed by the killer can’t you just recover back into the injured state before your picked up?
1 -
huh... thats... someone needs to test and see if that works.

I think people are upset because they didn't change moris along with instaheals.

Styptic is pretty much a classic instaheal though? If you're gonna get hit just use it and the killer either hits you and puts you in DW or waits 15 seconds, which lets you get to another tile/building.
And the syringe sounds cool too. Can even use it in a surprising way by popping it out of LOS and then suddenly healing to full 8 seconds later in the chase, or just pop it on someone you unhook to basically give them Second Wind level 4.

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure your health state being changed at any point during the 8 seconds will negate the syringe's effect

Everybody? Many people are super happy with that change, inclusive myself. And i am that guy that has stored 80 Instas on just one Character. :)

I personally think that styptic could have been changed to something a little bit better, maybe the same as syringe but over 16 seconds rather than 8. If the killer doesn't hit you in the 15 seconds that you have endurance then the add-on is just wasted.

Like old mettle or old ds, they are to lazy to meet requirements or think

The people ho are mad about the change are the ones who depended on them, so basically the toxic ones.

Probably same reason why people are so upset about the Nurse nerf.

"BALANCE FOR THEE, NOT FOR MEEEEEEE"
2 -
For the same reason people make a fuss about the Nurse: they don't like changes, especially if they require some effort from them.
Anyway I don't see what's wrong with keys, considering how killer-sided the EGC is (especially because of bad gate spawns).

Like with anything people see any change in this game as bad when it affects how they played.
I like the changes even though it's not much of a nerf. I mean free borrowed time for an anti tunnel medkit or an 8 seconds heal which is quick isn't the end of the world as they still give the player an extra hit.
They are still very strong and just stop the instant pick up/heal in the killers face scenarios which tbh felt like a kick in the teeth after you earned a hit/down.

I agree: they feel like a kick in the teeth.
The way instaheals have been used is not okay. Depending on my mood or how early in a match it's used, I have two reactions to instaheals as killer: 1. I don't care about anyone else, but you are dying; 2. screw this, I'm standing in a corner, you guys can play a gen repair sim. The earlier in the match it's used, the more likely I am to ignore the survivors and let them play by themselves; I lose nothing except a pip, and I don't care about that.
The changes are interesting: free Borrowed Time, which means an injured survivor can tank an instadown, and the 8 second heal, which is still a good deal, 'cause the survivor can be doing whatever else during that time, working on a gen or continuing to loop the killer. These are still strong add-ons, they just can't be used in quite such dickish ways: no more picking up a downed survivor in the killer's face or suddenly healing on the other side of a pallet.

Styptic was actually a really interesting change. I like how unique it is. The needle feels a bit underwhelming now though. If it only heals one health state then it's not worth it to me.
