If Lightborn was reworked...
Lightborn is a good perk againist flashlight saves and flashlight pallet breaks. It doesn't counter them majority of the time but it is a good perk to have to be ready for that kind of thing. But, as I said before, it doesn't counter them a majority of the time. Sometimes it feels like the blind resistance is sort of pointless. Not because of the perk itself, but because survivors who use flashlight use add-ons that make blinding almost immediate. However, if Lightborn was reworked which of the following would you like? (Current lightborn is fine, just adding a "what if" for those already typing below that current lightborn is fine as is.)

Uh, it doesn't need to be reworked because it's not a meta perk. : P
It's incredibly niche, and blindings aren't as bad as they used to be.

It's a decent perk, to counter flashlights. Also, nobody runs the "insta blind" build anymore, nowadays the meta flashlight setup is a having more charges.

The entity shields your eyes from the light. You are 70% / 75% / 80% resistant to blindness and recover 50% / 60% / 75% faster from blindness.
Honestly, #3 sounds like a buff for Iron Grasp.
Y'know, grasping them tight enough to not let them go, even if stunned.
#4 sounds kinda useless cause they either keep trying the usual timing, which makes them fail, or they just don't even try anymore.
I don't like #1 because of the penalty.
So #2 it is, just a beefed-up version.

I'd prefer:
If you would be affected by a blind status effect, it will instead blind the user.
So if you would get blinded it will instead blind the person using it.
