Killer: The DJ( Austin)

Austin and his friends Daisy, Spencer, and Tyler went to raves/ parties all the time.

Soon enough Austin became a professional DJ and started performing at every rave he went to.

One day though something changed in him when he ventured deep into the woods after he was hired to set up the next scheduled rave.

Over 300 people attended; however, only 1 came back.

Spencer escaped the rave and went to the authorities.

When the authorities arrived, they counted around 299 bodies and had to stop searching because of how late it was.

The next morning Spencer went missing.

The only thing that remained was music faintly playing in the distance.

( in progress I know)

Height: Medium

Terror radius: 24m

movement speed:115%

Austin’s power: Power up

To swap between equipment press ( for controller) Lb and rb to rotate items then press LT to place.

You receive 3 Moving stage light heads, 5 led strips, and 4 speakers. +addon( 3 laser heads/ and 2 fog machines)

Moving stage light head: After placing it remains off until a survivor enters a 25m radius.

Once a survivor enters they are revealed to the killer, if the MSLH is near a speaker when a survivor enter its radius then the survivor gains the exposed status effect.( these effects persist up to 15 seconds after the survivor leaves the area of effect)also survivors are not alerted when exposed.


LED STRIPS: You May place these on windows, If a survivor vaults through they become exposed for 20 seconds.

( If near Speakers then also removes 1 health state for any survivors).

SPEAKER: After placing it produces a 32m terror radius( replicates yours) any other placed items within a 32m range receive special bonuses. (Survivors gain the blinded status effect but don’t know it).

Bonus items:

LASER HEAD: Can be placed on generators.

Survivors working on a generator with a laser head receive the oblivious status effect( persists for 15 seconds after interaction ends) and a 10% stackable repair penalty.

( The laser head also shoots lasers into the air and Turns the generator green when touched).

SMOKE MACHINE: Produces clouds of concentrated smoke in a 40m radius.

All survivors in this range gain the Oblivious status effect and the blinded status effect.


All items can be sabotaged-( base 30 seconds by hand/ 20 seconds by tool box/ 10 seconds sabo perk w/ toolbox).

Weapon: Severely damaged stage light.

Perks:

CAUTION: After vaulting a window 2 times in a chase your vaulting speed increases by 10/15/20% each time you vault.

After vaulting 2 times in chase you can break a pallet 80% faster.

Downing a survivor, breaking a pallet, or losing the chase ends this effect. “ Careful this isn’t all for show!”- Austin


TECHNOPHOBIA: The design of the generators are significantly different.

For every survivor working on any generator, the repairs made shake the generator parts causing skill checks to be 10/20/25% smaller and slows down all generator repair speeds by 5/7.5/10% up to a max of 100% reduced skill zone and 40% slowed generator repair speeds.

CHOSEN ONE/ MARKED: One survivor is Marked or chosen, The first survivor you hit in the match will become your obsession.

The obsession is permanent( this perk has higher priority over others).

If you kill your obsession the perk deactivates for the match.

When the marked survivor/ obsession enters any interaction they and whoever and whatever they are interacting with are revealed to you.

If your obsession is the only one to escape you gain 25/50/75% bonus blood points at the end of the match.

”I will not let you go, but I will ensure your last breath is perfect!”

Addons- ( under-construction)

Red:

  • Brand new mixer: you may use all 5 items and all item ranges are increased by 50%
  • Spencer’s phone: All items take 100% longer to sabotage and you gain 2 more items for everything.

Purple:

  • Spencer’s gym photo: Survivors that are not your obsession are revealed for 10 seconds longer;however, you can’t se your obsessions aura
  • Daisy’s necklace: All survivors in a 10m radius from you are revealed
  • Tyler’s shoe: You receive 2 extra speakers

Green-

  • Police report: all survivors auras are revealed for 5 extra seconds.
  • Interrogation tape: you move 5% faster when you are in chase with your obsession
  • Spencer’s denial: Your obsession can not sabotage your equipment.
  • Austin’s mixtape: Fog machines now grant the exposed status effect

Yellow-

  • Austin’s confession: you move 5% slower when in chase with your obsession/ you see other survivors aura’s within a 20m range while chasing your obsession
  • Austin’s tool box: survivors that interact with his items are revealed for 5 seconds
  • Employment papers: receive 1 smoke machine and laser head
  • Song track: Gain 3 extra led strips

Brown:

  • Crimson wood: receive a notification when a survivor is 50% done sabotaging your equipment.
  • Bloody photo: All survivors move 5% slower for 10 seconds after 1 is downed
  • Exposed wiring: After hooking a survivor the next time a survivor touches your equipment they immediately lose 1 health state

Perks:

DETERMINED: No matter what happens you will never give in.

When being carried you Can wiggle out 30/40/50% faster and you are 20/30/40% more likely to escape off the hook.



ON GUARD: When your aura is revealed to the killer you see them for 5/7/10 seconds and receive a 20/25/30% speed boost for the duration.

After using On guard, you will receive the blinded status effect for 60/45/30 seconds.

*Does not cause exhaustion


FAMILIAR PRESENCE: The killer seems familiar to you and all that time you’ve spent together has really stuck with you.

Start with 0m aura reading for the killer only*

Every time a survivor other than you is hooked/ or you escape a chase gain 5/5/10m increased aura reading.

When the killer enters this range from you they are revealed( aura).

If you are hooked you lose all feeling of familiarity with the killer and lose all stacks.

If you escape the match gain 25% bonus blood points/ If you escaped alone you gain a 5,000 blood point bonus and 50% blood points bonus.


New map:

The crimson Wood/ part of the red forest realm.

Map features: Lights hanging around trees, blood splatter on trees, Rave hill( corridor with 2 windows leading up a hill to the dance floor).

Electronics shed( 1 door/ 1 Window).

Bodies hanging from the trees ( maybe).

    Caution is amazing, and so is the power itself. A bit odd the terror radius is 20 meters for a very non-stealthy killer, possibly change it to 24? Your choice, just thought it was a bit strange. The killer is also a fair bit like the Trapper, so 115% movement speed would probably be fine. 120% is a bit excessive though, even for consideration, seeing as he's a normal person.

    Technophobia is very much a killer's power more then it is a perk. A bit too game changing I'd say. Maybe a debuff to all action speeds that increases depending on how many people are on generators? Just a suggestion, a good concept but I think it's more suitable as a power.

    Chosen One is a bit too complex for what it actually is. I think it should just be an obsession perk. It'd make being the obsession a downside, but fixing a problem with the game with a perk isn't a good solution, it would still be a good perk.

    These are all just things I think, and if you don't agree feel free to ignore me. Over all a very good concept, and with a few changes it would be great.

    (I didn't bother to read add-ons or anything to do with the Survivor, as add-ons are weird and it's hard to nitpick any of them besides iridescent ones, and I know nothing about Survivor)

    I actually agree with everything! I definitely can tweak some things.

    Yeah originally I thought of caution as a perk to shut down chases and loops faster, and Chosen as a more lore themed but info giving perk.

    Technophobia, I wanted it because it sounded nice but definite changes are needed.

    Caution is definitely good, especially with bamboozle if the survivor continues trying to loop the same spot even without the window there.

    It's cool basing perks off of lore, sometimes you don't see that. Chosen One was definitely a good idea, even with what I said.

    Technophobia is a cool idea, you could even make a completely new killer based on it since it's a good idea. Even with it not being much of a perk with how much it does, still amazing.

    Also- someone actually agreed with the stupid stuff I say? Amazing. xD

    Really good concept. The details of powers and the perks seems pretty good overall and I love the intergration of obsession mechanics into the addons, only other kills doing that being Myers and Freddy. The one thing that stood out to me though is that On Guard with OoO is kinda OP, so maybe make it have a cooldown or not get activated by the survivor revealing their own aura to the killer with other perk interactions like OoO, Mettle or Babysitter.

    A couple questions though:

    Would sabotaged machines come back after a period or stay perma broken. And can the killer pick up machines to be moved around.

    Good point about on guard, I’ll change it.

    Yes, machines can be moved around.

    The laser head is the only machine that can’t be sabotaged.

    The Machines aura is lit up red if sabotaged.

    You can quickly repair it if you interact with it, or if you have hang mans trick they automatically come back after 30 seconds.

    Without a perk though, they automatically repair after 160 seconds.



    Final note: some machines can only be placed at pre set locations such as ( windows, corners, by walls, on generators) this only applies to laser head, led strip, maybe speakers.
