When a camping Killer wins it's only the fault of the Survivors

A lot of people will say "Only bad killers will camp". This not true. A really good Killer can decide to camp just for giggles and it's up to the Survivors to make the Killer pay. But the reality is that camping is rewarded by the Survivor more then you would believe. 3Ks or even 4Ks are not rare. They do happen far more then they should. Yet Survivors get very mad at the Killer that he got them all. The only one who can be a bit salty is the one who gets hooked -> camped first. Yet many times the other try to safe the hooked guy and then soon they are all hooked... one by one.

Just saying guys, look at yourself and don't blame the Killer if he succeed ;)

But in all fairness, it's a ######### play.

Down one, camp until dead. The other three then have a choice. Send two for a rescue or let them die. If they choose to let them die and power through gens they may face Bitter Murmur, NOED, and Blood Warden in a rough end game.

If they send two for the rescue, one person is on gens which is ideal, a hook is achieved and the killer now has a lead on two potential targets and a crippled survivor who was just rescued.

Throw in Insidious for extra trolalalala as Borrowed Time won't fire.

What if they all kill themselves on hook when they realize they are being camped?Ofc it has to be the survivors fault again right?

sometimes camping is the right play. It is almost never the right play on the first hook, but on the next to last survivor- absolutely. Kinda depends on the survivors tbh.

if the team is organized swf , using your numbers you could get 4 gens done but only with organization . 3 one a gean each for 80 secs for the first 3 and the 4 triple teamed , and this is assuming there is 0 progress on any gens on the map by the time the first person is actually hooked . If for instance three are half done by the first hook then in theory you could even get 5 gens . but once again this is a organized swf group vs a camping killer and that never happens in this game ...

If you camp first hook, your bad at the game and don't know how to apply pressure

I do agree. Camping isn't unbalanced. The problem is that it's ridiculously unfun to go against. And that's something you normally don't want in your game. A game should be as much fun as possible for both sides at any time.

That's why I would love camping to be nerfed in a way that doesn't punish the killer if they are forced to play campy because of survivors swarming hooks. So it is discouraged even more against normal teams. I get it can be countered, but solo survivors have a much harder time countering it than swf, and if the killer uses Ruin and NOED, camping will still most likely guarantee you two kills at the least.

I agree, camping killers are pretty bad at the game so if survivors cant win by simply bombing BT and DS it is their fault. Of all the situations ive faced, the killer just lost when he tried to camp

Camping is a bad strategy. That is why people call campers bad killers.

4k basement builds say otherwise. Camping being bad is a myth. It works 9/10 games.

Let me also add: The numbers here are without toolboxes, add-ons, Great Skill checks, or perks.

Also means it's without any Killer influence too, but Duh.

It works against bad survivors who don't know any better. A strategy isn't good if it only works against bad players.

Basement is an exception but that doesn't provide much better results.

It’s a mixed bag , bad killers camp, good killers camp, some do it to be scummy, some do it as a tactic.

I feel like this is obvious information.

Personally only time I see good killers camp is when its personal or gates are already open and there is nowhere else to be.
