i can't play as killer

Hey guys i just bought the game 3 days ago


and i can't play as killer i'm waiting until 10 mins and i can't find any game is it from the game or what ?

    @xKatarina If you bought the game on Steam and therefore are playing on PC then I know what your problem is. On PC killer is a very popular role due to the fact that killers are easy to control and feel similar to FPS games. So, a lot of people choose to play killer over survivor because they feel they get more points from killer then survivor.

    So basically, there are just too many people trying to play killer at once and not enough people trying to play survivor so a ton of lobbies are made, but almost none of them get filled.

    You're at the first rank as Killer... Rank 20. Rank 20 to rank 16 commonly has really long wait times for lobbys and this follows up until you reach Green Ranks.

    Right now, to reach the next rank bracket (Yellow Ranks) you need to climb the ranking system by winning a fair bit of games, once you go past around 17 or 16, you'll hit the Yellow Rank Bracket which is... slightly better with wait times.

    Like I said, it doesn't get better until Green Ranks, and it's mainly because not many people are in Grey or Yellow ranks after a few days of Rank reset (which was on the 13th, 4 days ago.) So it's expected that your wait times would be taking so long.

    You'll eventually get a match, it just takes a fair bit of time at Grey Ranks for both Survivor and Killer (Which are their own separate ranking systems) and you'll just need to endure it until you hit the higher ranks.

    do i have to wait about 10-20 mins to get one game and reaching rank 15 its so hard

    Yup if it take long just restart the lobby. I normally get game as killer at night then during the day.

    The Match Making system is hot garbage for queue times on PC for killer.


    They put in a new system that actually takes longer than it took in the past.


    You get penalized cause you are new and low rank.

    Yes sadly, it mostly has to do with how many people are in that rank bracket at a given time, it's more common to find people there when a new DLC drops or new content, but when the game is just in a normal state with nothing going on... than a lot less people will be at that bracket.

    So sadly it'll take a fair bit of time to get matches each time... there's nothing you can really do about that i'm afraid.
