I have some advice against spirit for y’all
She glitters while phasing and vaulting (you really gotta pay attention though), never do the same thing twice against a good spirit (she notices your patterns) and most importantly, pay attention to her pattern (if she doesn’t have one then you can’t have one either).
Frankly, I hope we get more killers like her since they require different forms of counter play to play against and shake the game up a bit.

But the Spirit doesn't shake up gameplay. She makes everything into luck/chance with the luck heavily tilted in her favor.
She needs balanced to when she's phasing/vaulting, that it's apparent.
Phasing is already an amazing, sure thing... cuz like you said, Survivors pick a pattern and repeat it.

I wonder why they put in such subtle hints that spirit is phasing. Are survivors supposed to know she's phasing or not? Either make it clear, or completely impossible. It seems kinda wishy-washy and half-assed. The only people who will notice the subtle tells are the ones who need the help against her the least.

As I said in the post, the glittering tells you that she is phasing/vaulting. Imo she is really fun to face.

an advice i heard that i thought was fake was when her animation "resets" when she phases, but when i went against a spirit she was in front of a pallet and she tried to pretend to phase walk, then i noticed her animation instantly jumped to a specific frame and i immediately knew i had to go to the opposite side of the pallet where she was previously on but vault slowly so she doesn't know that i even vaulted it

If people pay attention then it helps everyone, her stand still mindgame would never work and her vaulting won’t fool anyone paying attention.

I could be wrong, but the spirit stand still thing seems to be a pretty well known technique, so apparently it's working on people. Why make the tell so subtle that people don't notice it if the intention is that it be noticed? Seems like bad design to me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

On the bad design part: I'd more likely assume it's accidental than intended honestly. The creation of the husk is probably why she resets. It's a powerful technique not just for the "is she or not" it's the fact that she isn't forced to phase right away to catch up (compared to a currently running to a loop survivor) so she can gather information on what move to make.

I don't get the point of making these things very subtle if they are supposed to be intentional counterplays.
I would also really appreciate it if someone could send me a clip of this animation reset thing because I still can't notice it.

It is more noticeable with longer hair but I don’t have a clip of it.
I think it is subtle since she is based around mind games so it can’t be a dead giveaway.

That sentence reminds me of ptr ghostface: dead giveaway you were facing him (unknown killer is a variable after all), and you'd know if he's skulking around or not. Post-change it's now a "is he +32m away or is he currently staring at me".

Doubt. The animation thing is definitively unintentional caused by the way they handle the spirits husk. Besides that the glittering is kinda inconsistent.
And I personally would prefer more Nurse-like killers than Spirit-likes, because the first one you can play intentionell different while the other has a bad game feel to face. And I say this as someone who gets lost by Spirits midchase quite on a regular basis. It's still not really fun to outplay a killer, who doesn't give any feedback if it was your decision or their mistakes what made them loose you.

To me, it feels like the animation reset is unintentional . The glittering could be intentional but it is strange that cosmetics like the school uniform hide some of her shards. Cosmetics shouldn't give any advantages.

The animation reset has been here since her release so I think it is intentional, it is slightly harder to notice with her schoolgirl outfit but still possible.

How dare you give away trade secrets.
You forgot she can see you vault by the dust on the jump so commit to it.
Can track you from crows going off, but you can too.
She wont bother the grass, but you will so avoid that and go along ground spots.
Always change your pattern otherwise a semi smart Spirit will acknowledge this and destroy you.
And never ever think you can loop a Spirit. In those 16 seconds you'll lose as she recharges.
Juking requires highly spontaneous feeling. Watching her phase will give you an idea as she has a 1.5 charge speed and can move till the last moment for direction.

Do you have a comparison so we can see?
Also, even if you know she is phasing, doesn't mean you know where she is (meanwhile she can hear your breathing/cries/walking/running and see scratch marks/grass moving).
It's all in the hands of the Spirit. You're basically playing the match on autopilot.

I’m a trash spirit but it wasn’t so bad once I started applying myself more against spirit.

Looks like we will have to do it in a KYF. Seems I deleted the video of the Spirit doing the glitter effect.
Luckily I got P3, School Girl, and The Red Kimono so we can compaire since those 3 should be the main ones styles you see. Only one I'm missing is white Kimono and that hair.

Thats because in general a lot of people put the information out there, but it's usually just drowned out by people shouting "git gud scrub" bonus points if you know the community that started that. The other thing people say if "shes too OP please nerf". These two comments and variations of them down out the few people who actively try and provide informative information based on the experiences they have had.
But I want buffs on her T-T needs more Mori animations based on Ebony, Ivory, Cypress, Rancor, and Hex: Devour Hope.

Survivors want to bully all the killers, they don’t like to have a challenge and any killer that goes against that they will just dc instead of learning how to counter them.

I was gonna say other then the hair for the white Kimono i got everything, but you can be the Spirit tbh I dont mind just use double recovery addons and nothing else.

Yep no problem wont be professional or anything, but me and @GrootDude should be able to get some information so people can tell.
I'll let him post a thread with the videos (if we get good ones), collective pictures and information. Providing all the information i see done to me as a Spirit Main and our experience as Survivors against a Spirit.
Even if most of it seem useless to some people maybe it can help someone.
