is it bannable to use the killer offering and then keeping the killer?
title+can we get banned for using the killer offering in a way that we keep the offering killer and make normal progress like it was a character you bought normally??

Hard to be sure. It's definitely not an intended feature by the developers, and they have banned people in the past for exploiting known bugs. I guess the answer is "probably", so if you are worried, I wouldn't do it.

it happened once,and then i moved back to my original killers,i don't intend to exploit anything,nor get banned,i just asked,but i changed chars to prevent being banned,also knowing the devs,they will definitely ban people for using it,if the infinite mending bans with legion was an absurd,i don't doubt they ban players for this exploit,especially when it involves MONEY,getting a killer for free is not intended

Didnt even know this was possible, but this IS Dead by buglight. Taking advantage of bugs for personal interest IS bannable, with many ppl who have deliberately abused glitches in the past been punished. The glitch that let you prestige your character without dropping down to lvl 1 after that was around at the beginning of this year currently comes to mind.

Another thing is there's no real reason to do it - You level a killer who you can't equip their addons/offerings/perks for until you unlock anyway :D
Wait just re-read, like you can actually put on their loadout and so on too?

It only lets you play killers up to Pig anyways. But I own all killers so rip.
