Myers Best Builds/Perks
Hey what do you guys think some of his best builds and perks are?
Currently I run I like running two different builds and I can never really decide which build I like more or which one works best for me even though im a Myers Main.
My first build I like running is Ruin, Moniter, Infectious Fright, Brutal Strength/Bamboozle/BBQ&C(only for bp events usually or when i have bloody party streamers)
My second build is Ruin, Pop Goes the Weasel, Thrilling Tremors, Surge/Brutal Strength/Bamboozle (Tremors and Pop are so good as a combo)
Anyways yeah I like talking builds and perks and what perks have good perk/power synergy so like to hear from anyone else especially Myers mains! Lets talk some builds! Thanks take care in the Fog!

I usually run Sloppy, Thana, M&A, and BBQ. Its honestly just a great snowball build. Keeping a couple of people injured and then popping tier 3 is a great way to end the game. I tend to slug people a lot and most games I'll have 2-3 people down at a time because it's so easy to sneak up on injured survivors with M&A while in tier two. Wait for someone to go pick them up and just snowball the game. Once you have everyone injured, thanataphobia pretty much forces them to eat the 36% debuffed heals or take the 16% reduced speed for all the gens, which really adds up. I'm not necessarily playing this build in high high ranks, but it's a fun one to mess around with.

I use M&A, Ruin, Thana, and Dying Light.

I like running this build
- Brutal Strength
- Pop Goes the Weasel or Corrupt Intervention
- Infectious Fright
- Monitor and Abuse
This build compliments my style of play of being aggressive as possible and maintaining pressure. I can kick pallets faster and break gens faster due to Brutal Strength which triggers PGTW faster or helps me in chases when I have Evil Within 3 up.
Monitor let's me get out of that crucial Evil Within 1 very easily whe allowing me to get gen pulls and sneak up on people who are not paying attention.
Pop or Corrupt give me the necessary time to set up my early game with little worries. Ruin is also acceptable I'm just not a huge fan of it and have stepped away from using that perk.
Infectious Fright let's me chain downs in Evil Within 3 and find new people quickly downing multiple people if luck if in my side. It's also a nice situation awareness perk that works well with Myers.

been Myers main for two years. Used to destroy red ranked SwF on old killer pip system but can’t do it anymore with that strategy.
against strong survivors it’s not good enough to have tier 3 locked and loaded only to down one survivor. With michael you should wait for the best opportunity to pop tier 3 when two survivors are near each other. Or run infectious fright.
on the chaser——-tracker spectrum, Michael is in the middle. It’s probably best to have builds that slow the game down.
dying light, thana, sloppy
4th perk take your pick.
infectious? Nurses? NOED? Monitor?

Thats almost exactly one of the two builds i use. I just wish brutal destroyed pallets faster like yeah it still helps and dont get me wrong I use it on him alot but it mostly helps for gens bc how much it speeds up pallet breaking is miniscule and pathetic really :(
Will you still be using moniter with Myers once tier 1 becomes undetectable? Still will go well with infectious but at that point might as well use the dead rabbit addon im conflicted.

I didnt even notice honestly I just posted my build since I did the other day too someone else.
I'm not sure if I will continue to run Monitor and Abuse honestly I liked it for several reasons, but with the changes outside of getting it on specific maps I'll probably consider changing it to another perk. I might change it to Thrilling Tremors honestly, but if I do that I might drop brutal in favor of Surge.
Thrilling Tremors plus Surge has 8% regression plus an additional 16 seconds of regression with the ability to use PGTW on necessary gens that a survivor could be working on across the map.

Ruin, Infectious Fright, Enduring and Spirit Fury with J. Myers Memorial and Dead Rabbit.

As a Myers main, this usually helps for me:
One perk that helps my power, i.e. Monitor and Abuse
Two information perks, like Surveillance and Nurse’s Calling.
A perk to help defend gens like Pop Goes the Weasel.

Here watch this video -> https://youtu.be/_E0ZnNnvryM
It's 43 seconds long. So dont worry it wont take up alot of time.
Oh yeah thats why my other class has thrilling tremors and surge and pop all 3 combo well together. Tremors plus surge for extra gen regression + the 8% then pop the gen that isnt blocked.

How will your build change once undetectable comes into effect? Oh im surprised you dont run corrupt or ruin to help get out of tier 1 because its vital to get out of tier 1 as fast as possible.
You could argue that Nurses Calling has power synergy as well as information because like hag myers has a low terror radius.

Ya I thought so honestly. Still the visual que seems better lol.
Seems like a strong combo I was debating on trying it on Myers if I got the perks because he downs people as a M1.

Im not trying to poop on it believe me even knowing that, I still use brutal. But honestly dont know if it justifies a perk slot.
Trust me try it out, its devastating and good because his insta downs activate surge as well. Surge acts like a information perk at times too bc it can sometimes let u know that maybe someone is at a gen u didnt check. Honestly those 3 perks combo so well as gen protection. If you wanted to be nutty surveillance combos well with it too but i personally wouldnt use it

Myers main here. This is the build I use on him, it's inspired by the 1978 Halloween film...
Monitor And Abuse
Brutal Strength
Enduring
Save The Best For Last
It works quite well, I find.

I will drop Monitor and Abuse, for a chase helping perk (Bamboozle, etc) or another gen prevention perk.
1 -
BBQ (Unsurprisingly.)
PGTW (Assists in slowing down gens. Decent alternate to ruin since I don't have it... Yet.)
STBFL (Chase potential)
PWYF/Dying light (Either game slowing down with Dying Light or Extra chase potential with Play with your food. Since I ignore Obsessions with me using STBFL often.)

Just a follow up, whats your current myers build?
I have been using Ruin, Whispers, Moniter, Bbq, but with the upcoming ruin changes im probably going to completely change my build.
So yeah mind me asking for your current updated build?
0 -
I have multiple.
Chase prevention build:
Play With Your Food, Nemesis, Bamboozle and Save the Best for Last.
All Seeing Myers:
Surveillance, Nurse's Calling, I'm All Ears and Barbecue and Chili.
Gen Protector:
Corrupt Intervention, Ruin (new version, rework), Pop Goes the Weasel and Dying Light (You can replace Ruin for Thanatophobia if wished).

Some good builds but Id throw out M and A for furtive chase after the TR change. A semi permanent 0 tr in tier two is pretty sweet
1 -
Oh what do you personally run then gibbly?
0 -
l admit to being kind of weird with my myers gameplay even though hes my og boi.
My personal build as of late is ruin (if im in the red ranks, getting level 2 late can be devastaing), spirit fury, furtive and stbfl. After resets I tend to add enduring in place pf ruin just to become truly unstoppable.
I tend to save my ew3 exclusively for the obsession to conserve those sweet stacks but a good team can sometimes force me to drop it early. Used to use bamboozle until I found out about Miles naturally faster vaults even in level 2.
If you're not concerned about pallets im all ears is also a lot of fun with furtive. If you're running furtive and lnow how to hide your red stain at LOS breaking loops this combo is devastating.
Its not a flawess build but it can he quit fun.

Sounds like fun and definitely not something i see people run often. What are you going to change when the ruin changes go live?
0 -
Im pretty concerned about this change (I may have overreacted in other threads in the lst day) because I find most top tiers dull to play and it seems like mid/low tiers will be hit the hardest by this. But I'll probably stick enduring on for spirit fury or maybe bring bamboozle back. It can be a real lifesaver against a good survivor on the shack or the main building on certain maps.
As a whole this thread has made me want to branch out more often. Maybe dying light with stbfl to replace ruin.
1 -
Oh so you are thinking of taking out spirits fury?
Oh yeah dude michael is one of the most flexible killers you can build him in just about anyway and it would be fun and viable

Speaking of Myers mains and builds what is your current Myers build and how will it change with the ruin nerf @FireHazard ?
