I would like to suggest that when someone starts working on a totem while using this perk, it acts the same way that surveillance does and changes the color of the totem aura instead of a big explosion notification.
It's not a generator and since you folks have established that you can change colors of auras, maybe it is time thrill of the hunt get a visual update for the killer?
