Congrats to streamers!!!
Streams get new content to stream with or free after they showed the community how to harass killers and BM with pallets. While the players get stuck with the bill again for a battle pass that even a well known free to play game has for free.

The Battlepass is just a thing games do nowadays to provide longevity to the game. It's not like pallet loops and stuff was always a secret. Also I do agree that toxicity is often encouraged by some streamers and stuff.

ZOINKS!
giggles...

It doesn't help that some of them prepetuate the toxicity by making it a part of their brand.

To be fair to be the best Survivor you have to be able to utilize toxic strategies such as annoying the killer to attract his attention, flashlight blinding and almost torturing the killer to make you think you're gonna head on out of every locker.
It's probably because the game allows for certain playstyles to be more beneficial eventhough they are often unfun and rude a lot of the time.

Not a fan of Noob3 for that reason.
Still pallet loops are a thing. We've all known that. Doesn't automatically mean they will be toxic twats over it.

I hate streamers with a passion.
Maybe I should try it sometime. Be the evil that you want to destroy...

I don't understand why people watch streamers that just play videogames, such as the DBD ones or even people like Ninja. To me it's just boring, and I'd rather just play the game myself. I also can't stand the egos some streamers have, acting like playing a videogame is akin to performing a life-saving surgery. No shade to anyone who likes watching them, I just don't get it

I personally only like watching content creators content if they acknowledge that the game they're playing is a game for fun and not to be taken seriously.
Even when you have the super serious educational streamers I find it refreshing having them be so passionate at trying to aim for perfection everytime.
As you've said it's people's ego that puts me off certain people. Their attitude and general trying to look good just feels fake and unworthy.

$10 for a lot of stuff in return, plus with it redeeming the next pass is a snatch.
You're complaining about a problem which doesn't exist in dbd. You're spot on with EA and other companies being deceitful and manipulative to customers aka players but Behaviour are well behaved.
Plus a lot of places in the world are finally starting to deal with the predatory marketing techniques used by game developers in terms of lootboxes and in game currencies.
Dbd is perfectly fine, you know what you get and they clearly keep their purchasable stuff hidden in the store. A lot of it available through irridescent sharts.

You should blame Ochido for a lot of the toxicity. Noob3 doesn't constantly teabag or flashlight spam and his content is not even "toxic" anymore. Looping, 360ing or flashlight saving isn't toxic.

Well then there's no need to buy it if you aren't grinding.

Usually because they find them entertaining or are learning something from them. I enjoy watching Puppers and Panda personally. Puppers has a fun attitude and I'm picking up on subtle things he does while looping.

No it isn't. It is only done by companies who are very anti-consumer.

I personally do it to relax as killer can feel stressful at times if you're 'going hard' (ie trying to down 2 people on a bad map as a mid-tier killer). My go to is otzdarva since he's usually wholesome, does meme builds and explains almost everything he's doing as he plays so it's quite educational.
edit on topic: And we can have killers with noed toxicity! /s

That's why I believe Noob3, AngryPug, HybridPanda and whoever else is toxic should've been banned by now.

First time I have heard that HybridPanda is toxic.....

panda toxic?

Constantly calls people names for various things, literally went out of his way to insult a random camping LF, is stupidly biased towards survivors. What more to say?

how should someone be banned for insulting a bubba damn you sad

Hybridpanda is toxic?
I mean I don't personally agree on defining noob as toxic, but theres potentially an argument that could be made. Panda on the other hand constantly derails his success in games by by actively avoiding behaviour even adjacent to toxic (both as killer and survivor). If Panda is toxic and worthy of a ban, I've literally no idea how anyone can play this game without facing the same accusation.

Insulting a camping Bubba is toxic? Please. Panda is one of the better non toxic streamers.

Dude. Noob3 and Panda are completely different. Im not sure there is anyone nicer than panda. He gets into the game for sure but rarely does anything that could be considered toxic. At least on the youtube videos he puts out.
And noob3 is definitely a dick but hell he's entertaining. And lately his videos haven't been nearly as bad play wise as they used to be.
Never watched pug but calling for bans on panda? Hell no.

He plays both sides equally. If calling out a camping leatherface is bannable there wouldnt be any survivors left!
Please define your version of toxic, because we are on 2 different planets.

That's not the worst of it.
Game streamers become the role model for young kids who watch the. This became painfully obvious to me when I saw how the behavior of my nephew changed. He used to be such a cute kid, but as he started following certain streamers like Sniper Wolf and some others (I don't remember) he started picking up all their infantile mannerisms -- the nonsense cutesy junk they do to attract viewers.
Disgusting.
Streamers are like the sports athlete stars of last century. Just as people were idolizing people like Michael Jordan and wanting to become like them, people these days idolize Ninja and his ilk. It's a shame that a lot of them are such terrible role models and the way they conduct themselves is not how I'd want to raise a child.
It's worse for streamers because, unlike pro athletes whose words you only really hear in interviews, post fight etc. streamers constantly communicate to their audience. So you really see all their painfully annoying mannerisms and personality quirks, and children just soak it all up like a sponge.
Terrible.
